Kolache Factory — Restaurant in Southside Place

I frequent this place and the kolaches are typically very good. However the service is extremely poor, and the staff are not welcoming or friendly at all. 2 days ago I went with my son who was super excited to get Kolaches and apparently the system was down and they only accepted cash. Fortunately I did have cash, but when I asked a staff member if I could get a Kolache with a $20 bill the response was a scowl and a condescending "Well I don't think you can unless you get a lot of Kolaches, I don't have change". I think the owner would be really disappointed that the employees treat customers who want to give their money to this establishment. Why not answer with a smile and say "absolutely! I'll see...

Kolache Factory is an aptly named fast food restaurant chain. This store offers a wide variety of kolaches--which are essentially food filled pastries (more like bagels or rolls in flavor than something sweet). There are breakfast kolaches filled with egg, ham and cheese, etc. They offer classic kolaches with just the bread rolled around a polish sausage. They also offer desert pastries with jellies or creamy cheese filling. I really like the taste and convenience if this chain. This store is clean, busy and the staff is friendly. There are tables for dining as well. The location is convenient but on a busy road which can be difficult to navigate...

Come here often and always great. Today the employee was very rude. I ordered sausage egg and cheese kolaches for my 3 year old, she brought back sausage and cheese. When I said sorry think we misunderstood she said “no this is what you ordered I even wrote it on the bag” and basically refused to replace it with what I ordered. Ended up having to order again as she made it clear she would not be replacing the kolaches that I didn’t order.
