Crazy Crab Sports Bar — Restaurant in Southwest Ranches

Absolutly amazed at the change this restaurant went through. It wasent bad with the previous owners (although the food has definetly improved).

Lets start with the food. I ordered the smallest item on the menue actually (without knowing). I have never had clams before and didnt know how small they would be. However the restaurant (unlike most restaurants out there today) placed very generous portion of food (and delicious). Not something id expect from a seafood place (if anything I expected the portions to be so small that I would have to go to mcdonalds afterwards) but no it was pretty generous.

The food itself has changed for the better. More flavor and actually tastes better than before. They left the good of the old recepie and enhanced it with a better combo of spices so its pretty close to the original but just better. The desert is out of this world definetly must try.

But what really sets this place apart from its old self is the attention/ customer service. In a market where curretly customer service seems to be fading away, this restaurant is pretty generous with it and their attention to the customer is outstanding. No need to upsell deserts and drinks like other places. This place seems to be one of the few to understand that good attention and customer service sells and creates repeat customers.

I came here today on the way to the keys to order food and keep traveling and when I entered no one was at the door seemed quiet I walked in for the bathroom and was approached by a waiter or server in a real hostile manner asking what I was doing really unfriendly . I said I’m going to the bathroom shocked by the approach when I came out I seened him and just asked why did he approach me in such a manner and he bacame hostile towards me even balling his fist to the point where another lady stepped in and I decided to leave apparently they have bathroom guest who only use it and leave. Look my guy who ever you are you have no skills or courtesy and you were really distespectful and made me not want to visit this place again . I’m on my way to the keys without food because of you fyi. I’m not the people who this restaurant denies bathroom too I was going to order to go but you just made this review possible . Thumbs up to the guy with no waiter skills or sever skills or who absolutely has too many customers using the restroom for his liking three thumbs...

I have done delivery here a number of times since they first opened. However, I’m now wondering if they are under new management or something because there was drastic change in my order. I can tell there was not attention to detail at all. There are usually utensils and bibs in the order. My go to are the conch fritters, shrimp fried rice and the combo boil and usually pay a bit extra to get more sausage and shrimp. My delivery today was without the conch sauce that normally comes with the conch fritters so i had to make my own at home, the rice portion that i received was definitely not worth the almost $20 i paid for it. It was put in a different container than in the past. I also didn’t receive the extra portions of shrimp and sausage i paid for. Therefore, unfortunately i will no longer be eating from the restaurant again as this was...
