Joe Coffee and Espresso Bar — Restaurant in Spanish Fork

Update 10/4/22: It's gotten a bit better and I've had less issues with incorrect orders. But the overall inconsistent quality with slowly raising prices just doesn't make it worth it for me. I really wish it was better because nothing beats Joe's when it's good. That, unfortunately, just only happens on the rare occasion. I have such mixed feelings and it makes me sad. I've always loved this location, regardless of if it's been Buns and Brews, Daily Cup, or now Joe's. I LOVE Joe's coffee, but I've now had several consecutive poor staffing experiences. I will come with my same two coffee orders and I am almost always asked to repeat them while the employee does not write them down. I will get to the window and receive the incorrect thing. I order one regular and one with almond milk and generally they will either both have almond milk or both regular milk. 3 times I have said verbatim, "I would like a cream cheese bagel on a plain bagel." I specify because they default to an everything bagel which I strongly dislike. Every time, I've received an everything bagel regardless of my specification. This issue could be very easily resolved if employees that have this recurring issue simply brought a notepad for the order. I would love to give the establishment 5 stars because the atmosphere is wonderful, I can tell the management truly cares about their customer's experiences, and the coffee and food is delicious. I hope to see some improvement, but I suppose we'll see...

I really wanted to like this place but I have experienced terrible customer service on several occasions. I wish I knew the name of the lady who helped us today, because she was really awful (and this isn't my first encounter with her where she has been snappy). She refused to make a bagel with cream cheese at the drive thru because they were "too busy". As we got to the window there is a large and clearly printed sign that says that they do not accept bagel sandwich orders but bagel and cream cheese is accepted. This is also on the menu. We asked about it at the window saying we were confused as to why it is on the sign but not actually allowed. She was super rude and continued to say how busy they were and they told us to pull over to the side and she would make us one. We had already been waiting so didn't want to wait any longer. She handed us our drinks - which were wrong. We told her they were wrong and she grabbed them from us, and tried to fix them while just complaining to another employee right where we could see/hear them in the end the drinks were still wrong. Sigh.... I gave 2 stars because she didn't charge us for the drinks after all that (even know she dramatically ripped our card from the reader while another employee was running it and said "Ugh, just give it to them" 😂).

Drive to Payson to the other Joe's. They don't pick and choose what part of their menu they will honor depending on how busy they are....and...

I wanted to make an edit to this review. I’ve given it a better chance and only get coffee when a certain barista is on shift. It’s amazing when she does it without failure.

I came here today to get a coffee for me and my mom as a treat. I’m not sure what it is but the coffee lately has been so bad. Like so bad. Today i decided just not going to go anymore. I ordered a 20oz blended Cinnamon Kitty +1 shot. and they rang me up for 16 oz. Which is ok, I didn’t mind and just paid. I ordered the Rocca Joe as well— 16 oz iced. The orders came out after like 15 minutes because there was only one girl on shift for some reason? My coffee came out iced instead of blended. I was in a bit of a hurry so I was just disappointed and left. It was extremely watered down. My mom’s was iced— as requested— but extremely creamy without a coffee taste so we didn’t even want to drink it. Last time I came here with my friend to chat, her drink was the same way. Extremely rich and way too thick with cream and no coffee taste. We were just let down. It was our favorite coffee place to visit. I don’t know what happened but this place used to be a great little cafe. I’m not gonna be going anymore if they don’t make the coffee consistent and delicious like they used to 🤷‍♀️ I tip every time for sub par drinks !!
