This diner has been around since I was a kid and gone through multiple owners. I decided to bring my girls to visit - it had been a while since they were open for the dinner crowds First impression is it is still under dis-repair. It was clean this visit, but benches are broken and unsupportive, some phones didn't work properly, and there were no kids meal cups available. The diet coke dispenser was also out It took longer than expected to get our food - especially since there was only one order ahead of us. The cook was friendly and apologetic though Bacon cheeseburger was delicious. Fries were hot and well seasoned. Corn dog was good. Scrambled eggs were soft. Bacon crispy. The bread slices were huge and excellent quality! The only thing that was disappointing was my salad. Soggy iceberg lettuce with a pitifully small chicken breast. Some odd seasoning was also sprinkled on the lettuce which was unpleasant. They serve Ken's ranch dressing cups.. which are not good. Really wish they took time to make a house ranch dressing Overall it was an okay visit. Improvements could definitely be made for functionality but food was good

This is a fun place! Nostalgic diner vibe. The grill is front and center so you can watch and talk with the cook. There are so many food options! The booths have plenty of space. All 5 of us easily fit comfortably. The corner booths can accommodate even larger groups. You place your order from the phone at your booth. I decided on biscuits and gravy with hash browns and a side order of sausage. The biscuits were amazing! So fluffy and buttery! The hash browns, gravy, and sausage were great too. My son and son-in-law each ordered pancakes with their meals and they were fluffy and huge! The syrup is served warm in a glass flask. One daughter ordered a breakfast sandwich and the other daughter ordered a breakfast combo. All of the eggs were cooked to order. The thick cut bacon was seasoned and grilled to perfection. I'm sorry I didn't take pictures of everyone's meals. We all loved the food. Very friendly service, excellent food with big portions, comfortable vibe, and very reasonable prices too. I highly recommend this place.

One Man Band in Spanish Fork has been serving up great American classic food for 28 years, and it’s still going strong—now under new ownership. Manny, the new owner, truly takes pride in the place and takes care of each customer like family. You can tell he puts his heart into every part of the experience. The food here is just solid, comforting, and consistently good. I had the ham and cheese omelette, which hit the spot, but what really stood out were the hash browns—crispy, golden, and cooked to absolute perfection. Plus, breakfast all day is a huge win. True to its name, One Man Band is literally a one-man show. Manny takes your order, cooks your meal, runs the register, and even buses tables. It’s impressive to watch and adds to the charm of this hidden gem. If you’re looking for a no-frills, down-to-earth spot with great food and even better service, One Man Band should be at the top of your list.

Since this place changed hands, I feel there is no way to adequately describe this place. Sad? Ridiculous? Laughable? Disgusting? I mean, it all works, but that just doesn't seem enough. The whole serve and seat yourself, while scratching your head and wondering what it is exactly that you're tipping for at the end--sorry, beginning of it, because that's backwards now too--bit? I mean whatever. A gimmick's a gimmick, I guess. And where else is there to sit and eat breakfast in Spanish Fork since the Sunglo died? The Dennys with the butch, unprofessional manager who barks at her staff in front of patrons? But back to this particular joke. The food is more expensive, and simultaneously depleted in portion size (and let's not get started on the dirty, bare hands handling food about to be eaten by patrons). One cook can barely hear what's being said to him, while the other is clearly illiterate (I mean that quite literally, as why else would someone clearly and obviously repeat the mantra of, "I guess I need to learn to read," aloud while staring slack-jawed at the very confused cashier, who's wondering how/why he keeps screwing up every order on the perfectly legible tickets?).

In short, don't eat here. Call the health inspector instead. Your wallet and your insides...

My Wife and I stopped into the one man band in Spanish Fork last night for dinner. What a mistake! Upon arrival we walked to the entry door, and were met by a smoldering butt can of cigarettes. Our experience went downhill after that as I had to touch the door handle that was covered in some sort of dried liquid.

We found a seat in the back after walking past the kitchen and prep area. The grill and stove are covered in old burned food and have likely not been cleaned in a year.

Next to the silverware and drink machine were tubs of old food and dirty dishes. We had to try 3 different glasses to find one that looked sort of clean, and it was not possible to find clean forks.

As we filled out glasses with ice, we noticed the mold on top of the ice machine lids. A more thorough look around proved our suspicions. This place is disgusting and not even close to sanitary.

We received our food and I could not eat any meat….(bacon and sausage) because of a strange smell. The list of problems is huge here.

I’ve notified the health department. Save your health and do not eat food at this establishment.

If I’m contacted by the restaurant, I will ignore them and deal with the health department...
