my boyfriend and i came here a while back to get pierced. i had my forward helix and my tragus. my boyfriend had the seconds on his lobes pierced. mind you, the piercer that provided the service claimed 3 years of piercing experience.
when piercing my tragus she stopped halfway through , left the needle in while she turned away from me and said nothing. then turned back around after a few seconds and proceeded to attempt to push the needle through the rest of the way. this took about 15 seconds because she wasn’t able to push it through all the way in one fluid motion. and it hurt SO BAD.
when piercing my boyfriend, she marked his ears and asked what he thought. they were extremely uneven, and she re marked them multiple times, asking my bf if they looked even every time to which he continually was telling her he was unsure because he couldn’t tell from his perspective. he asked her what she thought was best based on her experience. she was very shor, non informative and unsure. after re marking them out a couple of times she turned to me to ask what i thought. i tried to give my opinion, but i told her im not a piercer and i know nothing about anatomy and how piercings are supposed to be marked out accordingly. she eventually brought back a tattoo artist to help her mark them out, and his advice was also very unsure and unhelpful. they ended up getting pierced uneven and partially in the cartilage on one side.
they charged my boyfriend $100 and they charged me $130. i have 16 piercings from various places throughout the years, and i reccomend to anyone to choose a shop that is more professional and experienced for piercings. i’ve never had an experience like this; it is a piercer’s job to know of different anatomy and options for placement that work accordingly. it is also a piercer’s job to educate their clients and provide a good quality experience especially when asking for such a high dollar price.
i reccomend infinite ink tatto in spanish fork, or meraki ink in orem if you’re looking for a safe,...
Read moreAbout 7-8 years ago I got a tattoo that I ended up hating more and more over time and wanted everyday to cover it but due to financial struggles I haven’t had the extra funds until now. So I attempted to schedule with a few different shops in the area and they were all hardly responsive, didn’t take walk in’s like their business advertisement stated and I had all but given in and by some chance I found Beautiful Sin only 5 minutes from my house. I was nervous to go somewhere I had never gone before but when I walked in both Luis “Spyder” and Miguel were super welcoming and was able to provide me honest feedback on my ideas for a cover up and together we were able to come up with a design. Later that day I came back at 3 like we agreed and sadly Miguel had gotten sick but they handed the piece off to Jesus “Juice” and when I tell you this was one of the best experiences I have had getting a tattoo from start to finish it was AMAZING. Juice was attentive, fun, caring and supportive of all decisions I made throughout the process but also helped give some other ideas or collaborate together. When it was finished I stood up and looked in the mirror and was literally almost in tears because part of me I hated for so long … was so gone and I couldn’t be happier. On top of that my fiancé decided she wanted a last minute piece and Juice not only made time to do the work but took his time to talk her through the design and everything! Thank you Juice and Beautiful Sin! You just made my fiancé and I...
Read moreThe 2 star review is for the actual business not the artist Adam, if it was for Adam it would have been 5 stars. I have been getting tattoos for over 30 years and a very successful business owner for decades in a customer service driven business. Adam is amazing talented, detailed oriented, courteous, and professional, artist. This was my second session with him and I was so happy to reconnect. I came in with my best friend to get matching tattoos and we felt as if Adam was the perfect person to do them. The woman who works at the front desk acts as if she’s doing you a favor by answering questions about the job she she gets paid to do.She is the first interaction you will have with an employee when you walk in and she should never have customer interaction. She might be better suited to manage the books and order necessary supplies to keep things up and running. The owner should rethink her position. Have someone who is actually good with people and is pleasant and engaging with people bringing money into the business, the same business that pays her salary. During the two times I’ve gotten some ink from Adam a man ( owner/ manager / generalized tool/ idk) criticizes the art being applied and the length of time it’s talking. You do not want your artist to rush, this is permanent. If you do choose this shop do yourself a favor and book with Adam you will be so happy you did! Now go get some new ink you...
