Update: they are selling the breakfast filets on sandwiches at night. Super small portion, no breading, I will not longer visit chick fil a. VERY DISAPPOINTED AND TIRED IF SUPPORTING A BUSINESS WHO DOESN'T APPRECIATE CUSTOMERS ENOUGH TO SERVE US BETTER THAN THIS! This location is a rip off. They charged me $5 for a small milkshake. This place has changed so much since COVID. I won't eat here again. The owner never even acknowledged the complaints. The Chick Fil A in Spanish Fort Alabama has deteriorated greatly over the past two years. The employees aren't being held to standard anymore, but the biggest change has been the quality of the food. The chicken has always been nice and coated and very crispy fried fillets, but that is no longer the case. They barely have any flour or batter at all, and they are very greasy. It's like they are drained before being placed on the bun. I have complained more than once and was told that that's the way Chick Fil A has told them to prepare the sandwichs. When I asked to have my chicken milk washed and floured twice, the manager refused. They didn't even cook it freshed like I asked either. I will upload photos. Everyone I know complains about the way the chicken filet has changed in the past several months. My family typically eats at chick FIL a three or four times a week... But not anymore. Prices are too high to be serving a less quality product. Many people I know have stopped eating there because of this and we have as well. Until the chicken is properly battered like it has been for fifteen years, my family will no longer eat at chick fil a. Very disappointed customer.
This location has gone so far downhill in the past two years. At night, the food is good, the way it’s supposed to be, but during the day, the filets are not double battered, they have a single layer of flour that cooks off of the chicken and tastes as bad as it looks, the buns are not warm, they are stiff and cold, and service just isn’t what it used to be. I asked twice for my filet to be double battered, the way it’s supposed to be, but it did not happen. I’ll upload pics.
It used to be... Always a pleasant experience. I never have to check my order. Always great, fast, friendly, welcoming service. CFA definitely has much higher standards that most any restaurants I've ever been to. Thanks guys! I always look forward to...
Read moreOn our way back east, we decided to stop by my favorite spot for dinner. We placed our almost $30 order with the first gentlemen who, though he was standing in 54° weather, provide excellent service. When we pulled up to the window/ door, we were not greeted. The two young ladies were simply staring at us and asked for the name on the order. One girl approached us and said that they did not have any cookies left and asked if we wanted a brownie instead. After I responded, "No, she did not inform the cashier, and we were charged for the cookie." When I checked the receipt and asked for a refund for the cookie, the young lady asked if we did not want it anymore, I told her that the other girl said that they didn't have anymore so she refunded the amount. A manager came over, and he apologized, which was the only semblance of pleasant that we received from our interaction at the window. We were not given a farewell either. Maybe the stores where we live spoil us, but this store has shown us just how special they truly are. The food was lukewarm, and the service at the window/door was far from what I expect when I patronize Chick-fil-a. Chick-fil-a is not just a fast food business. It is an experience that I am willing to pay for because I can guarantee that my experience will be top notch, as always. This store fell short, and I will never stop at this...
Read moreI game the restaurant three stars because although the food is great, atmosphere is fine and the service is good. I always feel as though it takes away from the human interaction experience when Chick-fil-A decide to make everything about the drive-thru. I remember when chick-fil-A was a family friendly oriented place and it's really turned into the bottom dollar bottom line with a smile type atmosphere. And because I'm older, I have seen the change versus the way people view it now and you see it as it is. It's a little disheartening because I just see things differently. I remember a time when Chick-fil-A was a restaurant that you could go to and have a meal and fell upscale and belt. Okay. You were doing something with your family. That was a little extra nice when it comes to a fast food/ upscale meal arena. But that is no longer the case as I said. And that goes for not just this particular restaurant. But all of the Chick-fil-A restaurants that have designed and redesign and the design experience which basically creates a bullpen around the actual restaurant and it makes it harder for you to want to go inside and experience. The atmosphere of what it's like the sit inside of the...
