Dr. Ranier seems to be competent at his job. Unfortunately, I do not like or agree with procedures in his practice. I am not sure how much control he has over those decisions but wanted him to be aware of my dissatisfaction. I have had two MRIs, 2-3 Xrays, After seeing Dr. Ranier in both appointments where he ordered the MRI, he scheduled injections without seeing the result of the MRI. On both occasions, I requested an opportunity to speak with Dr. Ranier about the findings prior to the injections being administered. I was told that was not how he worked and that someone would call me with the results. After several reminders on my part, and on the day the injection was scheduled, I received a call from someone in his office who read the report over the phone. I had lots of questions that she could not answer. I offered to come earlier to speak with Dr. Ranier and was told that there would be no time. I stated immediately after the MRI that I would not have an injection without speaking with Dr. Ranier, getting my questions answered and seeing the results myself. They cancelled the injection for that day and made an appointment for me to meet with Dr. Ranier a couple of weeks later. At the meeting, I could tell that he felt the meeting was unnecessary since he knew what needed to be done. He rescheduled the MRI which was yesterday. The process was like being a herd of cattle and prodded through. I was called in to insert the IV then instructed to sit back in the wait room until they were ready to do the injection. At that time, they instructed my husband that when I was called back, he should go to his car and get in line by the portico to pick me up. When I went back, I was ask to put on a gown but there was no where to get undressed except in the procedure room with 3-4 other people including one male. My expectation was that Dr. Ranier would come in and explain what he was going to do prior to starting the procedure and speak with me after the procedure to let me know how it went. The sedation was administered immediately and I never saw or heard anything from Dr. Ranier. After the procedure, I specifically ask if Dr. Ranier was still there and was told no. I have no idea how my clothes were put back on me and who was in the room to witness. I was immediately wheeled to the car with no verbal instruction on what to expect afterwards. A piece of paper was handed to my husband with some instructions. Overall, from top to bottom, all of my experiences have been below expectations. I am a very low maintenance patient; however, want to be treated with dignity and respect and certainly have not felt I have been treated as an adult who wants to be involved with any treatment decisions. It will be interesting to see if my review receives any response...
Read moreA little over a month ago I injured my neck very badly. I've been in horrible pain mostly only able to lie on the floor. I'm having horrible numbness and weakness all over. Dr Manley ordered an MRI but said there's nothing he can do for me so he referred me to Dr Rainier. Two weeks after following up with them I still don't even know if Dr Rainier will see me and my GP has called them twice. I've informed Dr Manley's nurse what's going on several times while she does respond I might as well call pizza hut for answers. During all of this I ended up going to Thomas ER multiple times when I could hardly walk and was having the feeling of blacking out. There wasn't much they could do for me... They scheduled an appointment with Dr Flott to try and get some answers. Two days later he cancelled my appointment. Sadly I've been dealing with this after breaking my neck 17 years ago. But I have to say CNI has been the absolute worst lack of care I've ever experienced. I ended up going to Baldwin Bone and Joint not only have they been more compassionate but took my situation much more seriously. (Kristy Barrentine - 5 stars) Really sad that this can happen to someone I can't even shower or fix my own food. (When this first started the injury and pain at the very top of my neck was so severe it was causing an intense pressure inside my head, face and eyes. Completely different than a headache. When I informed Dr Manleys nurse of this, begging for help, their response was Dr Manley could order a brain MRI to see why I'm having headaches... Total lack of communication) edit: today 11/29 I was told Dr Rainier will not see me. Never in my 33 years have I been denied to see a doctor and not once but twice. 12/6 - Dr Nidal Omar got me in three days after being referred, has ordered several tests and promises to get to the bottom of things. Quirky but excellent doctor that made sure every single question was answered. From someone that has experience with doctors Go...

I finally got back to see Dr markle.i began to tell him my health problems and he treated me like I was trying to see for drugs. I suffer from crrippling migraines and he seen me in the hospital as I was rushed to the hospital because I didn’t know my name and wasn’t able to talk clearly. I was in the middle of a Hemiplegic migraine. I heard Dr markle talking about me with a male nurse saying he thought I was on street drugs. I don’t know what street drugs are! I’ve never tried any kind of drugs in my entire life. I have only taken medication that was prescribed to me. I left that hospital feeling angry and frustrated. He even had a spinal tap done on me. My husband and children told him about the types of migraines I suffered from. He doesn’t even need to be a doctor if he can’t spot someone that’s having a Hemiplegic migraine. He has the worst staff upfront that I’ve ever...
