Shorted us a burger... Got all the way home with a large order, just to turn around to receive the missing burger... We asked nicely if we could exchange our now cold (from the drive) food and we were rudely told no... They got the order wrong, caused us another trip... Gas... Etc... Then did the bare minimum of actually making us the burger they forgot to make in the first place. The worst part was the way we were treated when we returned to get what we already paid for... We were treated as an inconvenience and were not only not offered an apology, but denied fresh hot food in light of the fact that the food they gave us had gone cold because of an error on their part. Then when complaining on THIS forum... No one from Jack in the box acknowledged the fact that we paid good money for cold food... still have not made the slightest effort to make this up to us in any way whatsoever! Still unwilling to make right the fact that we paid full price and by the time we had our entire order home... It had to be microwaved... This restaurant (if you can call it that) is 5 miles away... That's 10 miles round trip. Yes they gave us the burger that we paid for... with a very negative attitude. However, the cost of that burger meant eating leftover food, reheated on our own, after being brushed off by the manager on duty. If you are still desperate enough to "dine" at this "restaurant" be sure you take the time to verify your order is complete at the WINDOW... Because the longer you wait the colder your food will be, and Jack In the Box doesn't...
Read moreIt took them 45 minutes (no joke) to figure out the burger combo I wanted to order. I couldn't have been clearer, "2, bacon cheeseburger combos. You have them listed for $4.99," "the one that's picture is not a bbq bacon burger. It shows lettuce, mayo, tomato, bacon, cheese, and only ONE patty." The lady, Diane, who took my order wanted to help me and treat me great. She got her manager right away and I described the burger again. "Oh, that's what's on the screen. Double Bbq bacon burger." I explained the picture three other times till she went out to the drive thru and looked at the picture. I felt bad for holding up the line and offered to go inside. At this point it had been 21 minutes, the time since I sent my husband the text that I just pulled into the drive thru lane. Inside it took another 25 minutes to finally get my food once they finally figured it out! Diane was amazing and deserves a good job for trying to be fast and extremely helpful. As to the managers, learn your gosh darn menu! I will not go...
Read moreI'll always love Jack in the Box because when I was a kid my dad who's name was Jack (r.i.p. dad) used to say to us kids "who wants to go to a fancy French restaurant???" I'd say "I do!!!" and he'd say Jaque (pronounced shouck) in the Box. He fooled me and when I found out it was a hamburger joint I thought it was funny. I'm probably one of the only people that does the survey on the receipt and orders 2 jumbo Jacks with cheese for $3.45. Yeah, I love a bargain once in a while. It's great when you're REALLY hungry. I only got grief once because the coupon says Jumbo hamburger, but I gotta have cheese, so one time I said fine I'll pay .15 for a slice of cheese because I'm paying for a Jumbo cheeseburger. But over 10 times within a couple of years they just give it to me no problem. The window people and staff are nicer than the other cold mickeydee and actually act like people not robots which makes going there a pleasant experience. Nice....
