O'Skis Pub and Grille — Restaurant in Sparks

Getting food was a nightmare. A few coworkers and I went for lunch a while back, (so this problem very well could have been fixed by now,) and it took an hour to get our meals. There were 4 of us. We ended up needing to make it to go. Bartender was nice about it and seemed frustrated with whatever was going on in the kitchen and had said they were short staffed. But that turned me off quick. Especially since we were the only table. However, going in at night for a cocktail wasn't a problem. Bartender definitely stayed with her crowd of friends there, but it is what it is, and she served me quick so no complaints. Just not someplace to go if you want to...

Food was delicious! We got to the place around 5 pm on a Saturday night and ordered a Nutty Irishman and a Guiness. The bar tender/waitress was exceptionally rude! She seemed very aggitated and it was prominate through here attitude. When we ordered a second round she explained that they were out of Guiness and Armaretto, therefor she could not replenish our drinks. Unheard of for an Irish pub. (Smh) O well. Maybe she had an off day or something. Unfortunetly, I will not be going back there...

Came in really close to the kitchen closing (about 5 minutes or so) but the awesome staff said they still had the fryer on and could make us some food despite the time. Now I have worked in a kitchen and definitely know how it goes, but since we didn’t have a ton of other options, we got lucky and it was so nice they were able to accommodate us! The beer, fish&chips, and chicken strips hit the spot for sure, but the service was fantastic. Cheers...
