Woody's Grille & Spirits — Restaurant in Sparks

I would have normally given Woody's a 5 star review but the new policy to stop serving food at 4pm on weekdays is disappointing. I found myself having to race across town to have a beer and my favorite burger in town. Please reassess your decision to stop serving so early. You're going to lose a regular if this policy remains. I enjoy the staff and atmosphere and it's a great place to stop at the end of the work day for a beer and some great food. The burger is my favorite in town! I'd just like to be able to actually have it at 5 or 6pm on the way home!

Just watched 4 guys come in and sit down for food and drinks, they were told they only have an after hours menu, they got up and left. It's 4:30 pm. I don’t leave reviews very often but when something is outstanding I do. I have to rave about my experience at Woody’s Grille.. my boyfriend and I came in on a Saturday night after a long and tiring day. The place was packed and I was concerned we wouldn’t get good service.

It was exactly the opposite, the waitress was attentive and got our order exactly right which is odd because we never order anything just as it comes on the menu due to diet restrictions.

But the pan seared ahi salad was absolutely one of the best salads I’ve had in my life. I asked for the Asian lime dressing instead of the cilantro (it tastes like soap to me) and oh wow it was phenomenal!

Because I mentioned cilantro isn’t good with me she even included it on the side. Unfortunately I live across the country so I will just be trying to replicate it from now on.

In a time when so many of the major chains are cutting back on quality and portion size of food, Woody's is doing the exact opposite! Btw - hello Reno & Sparks peeps, Woody's is BACK in case you didn't know - and they're better than ever. They've been a personal favorite since they first opened (I attended the original Chamber grand opening years ago) and I'm happy to report that yes, they're back and better than ever. They are clearly going the extra mile during these challenging times, which is so impressive and also a reflection of how much they truly care for their customers and community.
