Uncle Sal's Pizza II — Restaurant in Sparta Township

The other reviews on here are from TJs that was the previous business at this address. Uncle Sals opened recently, want to say within a few weeks of of this posting (3/30/17).

I have recently tried Uncle Sals twice since they recently opened and have to say it's very good!

Ordered the Eggplant Parmesan sandwich and the Godfather, with an order of Garlic Knots and the appetizer for 2. Let me say that it's very hard to find a place that makes a good Eggplant Parm up here and this place absolutely nailed it! Perfectly cooked through with the right amount of cheese and sauce. My wife had the Godfather and we swapped halves and it was also great!

The Garlic Knots were perfect, overflowing with real garlic, and also not dry like some other places try to pass off. Really freaking good! Appetizer for 2 was also great, a mix of Zucchini sticks, tenders, mozzarella sticks, mushrooms, really good!

The second visit was just today, decided to try a pie and it was every bit as good as the other food we tried here! Also ordered more Garlic Knots (seriously, garlic lovers should rejoice at the awesomeness) and tried their Zeppoli's(sp?) that a couple were raving about during my previous visit, and THEY ARE AMAZING! Seriously, for something so simple they nailed the execution perfectly!

I'm really hoping that Google can remove the old reviews so people aren't deterred from the place as those reviews don't reflect the new business. It's really great having a place on our side of town that puts out great meals and is also...

First you call and give a simple order but the person doesn't apparently understand what your ordering a cheeseburger platter come on ppl then another person gets on the phone acts like they understand then they tell you 35 mins for delivery so you wait the 35 mins then another 40 we still tip the driver then our food order isn't correct at all we call back to speak to whoever is in charge and if course they try to say no you didn't order like we did and then gets snappy and say well what do you want me to do so yes the food may be a cheaper price but the service and manger suck id rather spend the extra money and order from a place that will at least be polite and helpful to fix their mistake to keep...

I order from here several times a month as the pizza is usually pretty good. I ordered online and had very specific instructions as my daughter has allergies. Somehow those instructions never went through. When I called they blamed the 3rd party (and its true it wasn't Uncle Sals fault) BUT they just had me call them...I told them I order almost every week and I thought for sure they would have said, no problem we'll send it right over...but they didn't and I was very surprised and disappointed. Over $10??? Really? Even when I told them I always order from them and my daughter has an allergy??? So...with SO MANY pizza places in Sparta, I will find somewhere else...that is NOT how you handle...
