Fiesta at Bronco's!
Holy Guacamole! Let me tell you about my recent experience at Bronco Mexican Restaurant. I had the molcajete, and it hit me like a flavor piñata at a fiesta! It was so amazing that if I were a food critic, I'd give it a gold sombrero. I've sampled Mexican food from here to Timbuktu, but this place takes the churro!
Now, let's talk about the ezquite – corn on the cob smothered in cheese. It was like the corn was wearing a cheese sweater, and it's the coziest thing I've ever tasted. I almost mistook it for a corny stand-up comedian, but it's a-maize-ing.
And the chicken quesadilla? It was as if a quesadilla wizard had cast a spell on it to make it taste like heaven in a tortilla. If I could, I'd build a quesadilla shrine to worship it daily.
Dessert, oh dessert! The flan was so good that even Cinderella's pumpkin turned green with envy. It was smooth, creamy, and utterly flantastic. I'd have it for breakfast, lunch, and dinner if I could!
To sum it up, Bronco Mexican Restaurant deserves more stars than the galaxy has, but I'll settle for five. It's like the restaurant took a siesta and woke up with a menu full of Mexican masterpieces. If you haven't tried it, you're missing out on a fiesta for your taste buds....
Read moreI've been here several times in the past and always had a great experience. This evening we ordered the flight margaritas. They were great although we did wait a while for them. The server may have been new which may have been the reason for this bad experience. I ordered the Texas fajitas for TWO and added tilapia. We had two very tiny bite sized tilapia pieces, when our food arrived she brought out one plate of rice for us to split, we also had to ask for the salad which was also on one plate to also share. Typically when we order this meal the beans, salad and rice are served one per person meaning I get one and the other person gets one. I'm not sure why it was different tonight. I did ask and she was adamant that this is how it was served. While I realize this was a busy Saturday evening the solution would have been to bring them out plated separately. Why ever would I want to reach across the table to eat off of a...
Read moreWe are from out of town and were looking for a non-chain restaurant to go to after a rainy day at Croft State Park. Bronco was close and had 4.4 stars at the time, so we thought it was worth a try. The service alone was worth the stop. We were quickly seated while a young lady brought us chips with a choice of salsa. I can't swear that the spicy was made in the house, but it was fantastic. Next, our waitress came for our drink order while we looked over the menu. She came with the drinks promtly and took our order. My wife ordered a shrimp burrito, and I asked to have the waitresses' favorite item. It was a new bowl with steak, chicken, mangos, rice, and more. The meal was beyond our expectations. I apologize for not remembering or the waitresses name. We both had a long, cold day, and your service warmed us. The bill was very reasonable, and we only wish we lived in the area so we could try some of the...
