Walked in with my boyfriend to order And there was only enough steak for one order and there was no chicken left. I could see the girl was full of chicken and I could tell that it was almost done, So I was OK with waiting I understand and I don’t mind waiting for fresh food. My boyfriend got the last order of Carne and I waited on the chicken well while he ate, I had some chips and queso and waited probably about 15 Minutes enough time for what I thought it would take for the Chicken to finish and steak to be almost ready because I wanted to do chicken and steak. By the time I got in line, there was already about five people ahead of me And while I’m standing there, I see the cook cutting up The Carne getting ready to put in a pan and bring it to the line. Once the Employee behind the counter figured out when I wanted, he told Carne would be a while. When I explained to him that I Thought I saw her cutting up the steak, And how much longer would it be because I could wait a few more minutes to let her cut it up and label and whatnot. But when I asked if it was ready or how much longer it would be, she stopped, cutting the meat and looked up at me with the ugliest meanest glare/stare ever and she just stared at me for a solid three seconds to which To which I apologized, just got the chicken and left. Everyone else was friendly, But for some reason that girl Cook had an attitude, she was even snapping at her...
Read moreI’m a huge fan of Chipotle. This location in particular, not so much. I’ve visited twice. First time, they were out of several ingredients. I get it, it happens but to be a new location and be out of several items, not a good look. Second experience was tonight. I placed a mobile order and decided to opt for the window pickup lane. After waiting 25 minutes to get to the window, the girl informed me that a bunch of employees quit and walked out and that there was 7 people ahead of me to get their food if I wanted to pull around the building to wait for it. I asked “How long will that be?” 40 MINUTES. So, I went through the painstaking process of requesting a refund through the app (which is essentially texting with a Chipotle representative). While they couldn’t refund my gift card, the girl did give me a reward for a free entree that was added to my app. So that’s the only positive and that reflects on the company as a whole. I was stoked when I saw this location open on my side of town. This new location is off to a very bad start, and I apparently am not the only one with the issues based on the rating. Based on my two experiences so far, this location sucks. Hopefully someone in management or the owner reads all the negative reviews and changes something to make this...
Read moreI don’t understand how a store can consistently underperform, like this store. Twice I have been in within the last month with the sole purpose of getting a salad; while in line I come to find out there is no lettuce cut - That’s fine, I’ll take spinach, very little steak, and the kicker NO dressing. Let’s me serious, the real reason most people get salads from Chipotle, is for the dressing. The first time this happened, the associate didn’t even tell me they just packed up my order and I had to ask for it, and the second time I had an order I picked up through the drive through; noticed that it was not in my bag - again - and went inside to grab it thinking it was just a mistake. I got inside and the associate told me that this was because the shift before him hadn’t made it for them. It was 6 pm?! I should never have to walk out of that store, at dinner time no less without dressing or tortilla chips. I have been to Chipotle all over the country at near closing time and have never experienced the lack of food inventory that I have that the location in Hillcrest Plaza, Spartanburg, SC. Especially since they have TWO areas to prepare food.
I will say that their store is kept very clean, but the rest of the store could use a complete overhaul from...
