Taco Bell — Restaurant in Spartanburg

Order #: 301501 My family chose to get dinner from Taco Bell #031438 this evening through the drive thru. The customer service at this location was horrible and this is not the first bad experience we’ve had at this location either but I digress. This particular incident demonstrated ridiculously poor customer service. They forgot one of my daughter’s entire order of 4 cheesy roll-ups (her entire meal); put tomatoes all over the order of nachos—despite being told several times, no tomatoes, and then had the audacity to tell a member of my household that they would ‘press charges for harassment if she “prank called” them again’ when we called to complain, stating, “this is Taco Bell, you know full well we don’t sell no tootsie rolls in here,” to which she replied, “I didn’t say tootsie roll I said, CHEESY roll up things.” I sat beside her with the phone on speaker and the lady put my daughter on hold without so much as a word and never came back. When I attempted to call them a second time no one would answer the phone. I am terribly upset by this situation. Thankfully, we had enough from the rest of our order, with all 8 of the members contributing, to create a meal for my other child. I won’t be returning to this location,...

This TB is the best one in Spartanburg County!

Again, our tacos are assembled with care, and the employees are courteous and friendly.

Tonight, the staff were so thoughtful in how our order was delivered to the table. They were so helpful to a customer who needed help with the kiosk.

Yes, it's odd to say this --- but this is our favorite Taco Bell!!

The staff here is awesome! Maybe it's just with us because we have developed a rapport over the last several months --- but they are quick, kind, and courteous.

They also take the time to assemble our meal and not (just) sling it together. 🌮🌮🌮🌮

More times than not, they walk it to our table and deliver with a smile.

We love this place!!

Because they don't sling it together, it is well-assembled AND delicious! I accused them of "making it with love" --- and they just laughed at me. 😉

This Taco Bell has redefined the concept of slow. I’ve seen tectonic plates move faster than the drive-thru line here. Every time I come by, every single time, the line is wrapped around the building like it’s Black Friday and they’re giving away free Teslas. Spoiler alert, they’re not. They’re just desperately trying to figure out how to put meat in a shell and cheese on a tortilla.

Let me break it down for management since efficiency clearly isn’t a job requirement here. A taco consists of, what, three ingredients? Meat, lettuce, cheese. Maybe a wrapper if we’re feeling ambitious. A quesadilla? You literally put cheese in it and grill it. This is not brain surgery. You are not crafting artisanal charcuterie boards or decoding ancient scrolls.

It’s fast food, not fine dining. And yet somehow this crew manages to move with the urgency of a DMV line on Ambien.
