As an upstate coffee connoisseur, the opening of a coffee shop just a stoneās throw from me sent chills down my spine. My girlfriend and I showed up and were greeted by two young women, who I presume were in training.
First impressions: the space is calm and inviting, with smooth jazz playing softly over the intercom. The walls are mostly bare but accented by some striking splatter art. The counter evokes the charm of an old-fashioned ice cream shoppe. Cozy couches are arranged for enjoying coffee with friends. The atmosphere is clearly coming together beautifully.
I asked one of the girls for a recommendation, and she suggested the spanish latte. Iām very glad I took her advice. I believe the proprietor came out shortly after, greeted us warmly, and helped the new employee prepare the latte. The result was a fantastic drink that Iāll definitely be coming back for.
The price for my latte and my girlfriendās brownie Ć la mode was so low I honestly thought there had been a mistake. I truly hope this Spartanburg gem becomes a local staple. The food is delicious (I stole a bite of that brownie) and the coffee is hot and satisfying.
Overall, a 10/10. Iāll absolutely be...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy family and I are huge coffee drinkers. We stop by all new coffee shops in our area to give them a try. We've seen Dopamine all over social media and wanted to try their Dubai treats and coffee. We were greeted with a warm welcome. We took a min to look over the menu before we started ordering. Everything was delicious! I will say if you go while they're still in the "new" phase be patient, the employees are learning and make mistakes. I was aggravated because we weren't done ordering and the cashier started taking people behind us orders. My husband finished his food before the other orders were done. The owner/manager/boss was very kind and apologized. He checked on us while we were eating and I promised him I would return because everything was EXCELLENT. Definitely will...

There were three people working and it looked like they were just walking around making a mess with all the ingredients as the line never moved. It looked very messy behind the counter with ingredient containers smudged with handprints. The ingredients on the shelves that were visible looked smudged too, and all of them were household pantry items like Pillsbury icing and marshmallow fluff. The crepe machine was nasty looking too because it had a lot of drippings all over the sides like it hadnāt been cleaned in a long time. We decided to go...
