Japan Hibachi And Sushi Express — Restaurant in Spartanburg

First time trying Japan Hibachi & Sushi and will NOT be returning. The food all tasted the same, like soy sauce no other flavors the cream cheese wonton's where the weirdest ever, just mush with some weird food color in it, never had anything like it. The hibachi chicken and shrimp had a soy sauce flavor as well and had a burnt taste like the grill was dirty. The lady up front wasn't rude but wasn't friendly either and the inside of the dinning area looked a little run down and could use a good cleaning. As previously stated I will not be returning. I will take my $25 dollars elsewhere...

Spicy tuna roll was warm and had a strong fishy smell, seemed to be premade. Miso had absolutely no taste. Chicken Yaki Soba had a lot of burnt pieces of grill waste in it. I personally work is food and beverage, specifically with Chinese and Japanese cuisine, I was horrified with the quality of the food here. I hate leaving bad reviews, but after spending over $20 on a meal that I couldn't even finish. I sadly feel the need to not only notify the public but I hope a manager sees this as well. Sushi containing raw fish should never be warm to the touch...

I came here because Japan House's card machine was down. My first time. I stopped going to Fuji for Japan House because Fuji did not serve sushi. This place is very similar to Fuji as they have the sweet carrots, but also serves sushi. My plate consists of teriyaki chicken, rice, veggies, and sweet carrots. Everything tastes good, but I'll stick with Japan house simply because they give 8 pieces of sushi instead of only 6 pieces for the same price. But this place is a great...
