Came here with my sister on the evening of 08/14/2025 we ordered a lot of food, our order was taken (but not made yet) we paid and sat down to wait for our order to be fulfilled. While waiting customer after customer was being served and our order not touched. We did order some food that needed to be cooked because they were low on a lot of food. This was 2 hrs before close. While we watch customer after customer being served and the cook changing trash bag instead of cooking, we asked how much longer we need to wait for our food to be ready, the server “Daniela snapped at us with such attitude barely composing herself saying that it’s going to be a while because our order was big, and food needed to be cooked while the food that was in stock was being served to other guests and running low. There was another server or maybe manager Cindy or Candy whatever her name was also rude and unprofessional, both of those girls where not in a good mood and pissed, I mean I get it maybe they don’t want to be at work at 8 pm than in that case maybe don’t come to work and stay home. Also one of the orders was a family meal with the steak and veggies up charge, when we came home the order was missing the stake with veggies order that we paid an up charge for, instead it was an order of regular meat. Also the lo mein was either too old and dry or undercooked, maybe both, it was given to us on purpose by those girls because as we sat there I watched as a new batch of lo mein was made that was as filled with normal lo mein and cabbage I even joked to my sister about the amount of cabbage that they put in there and that kids won’t like it, but ours did not have even one piece of cabbage. Mind you we spent over $100.00 there, food was NOT good at all! Needless to say this was one of the worst experiences for me in Panda Express, to the girls working that shift, I know you don’t care because this is NOT your business but (as a business owner myself) today would be your last day at work. You just don’t treat customers like that, that’s disrespectful to the people who come to spend their hard earned money and that’s disrespectful to the owners that hired you and pay for your bills and you loose customers for them! What a shame to this location, I am definitely not coming back accept to get refunded for the stake and veggies that I was up charged for and...
Read moreHORRIBLE PORTION SIZE - RIP OFF. I really don’t like to publically write reviews about someone, but the public has the right to be educated when something is not right. Of course, the public needs to hear the positive as well:
PROS - I was really impressed with the food itself. The taste was excellent, and I was impressed with the quality and fresh taste and appearance of the food. The service was quick, and the staff were kind and gracious. If it were not for the below CONS, I’d eat there all the time!!!!
CONS - The food may taste good, but the serving sizes are a JOKE when you consider what you pay for it. I did the drive through today and ordered an entre. I asked about the sizes, and the lady was honest and said that the small size was “really small,” so I went with a medium. I was FLOORED that they would even call this a “medium.” It was only the entree (no rice, egg roll, or any other sides). There was not enough food for one person, but it cost almost $10.00. Absolutely ridiculous!!! I can’t help but wonder how pathetic a “small” serving is.
With the above in mind, you are much better off going to Uncle Poons, which is located in the former Bi-Lo shopping center. I’ll also tell you that New China on Main Street is awesome and very highly...
Read moreUPDATE: Place is back on track! Food has been fresh the last couple times I've went, and the staff is still very friendly!
Original: From Grand Opening to Covid this place was amazing. I was so glad to finally have one nearby. Post-Covid it has struggled, which is understandable, but it continues to struggle. I keep returning and telling myself it's slowly getting better and back to the way it was, but I'm not sure if it is/will.
The food is no longer always fresh, their menu items are limited to only the popular items it seems, and thier portion sizes have decreased noticeably. However, the staff is still very friendly.
I usually get the same thing: A Plate with Chow Mein and White rice mix, Orange Chicken, and Beijing Beef. Every time the Chow Mein has been dried out. The Beijing Beef didn't seem to make the popular cut. A friend highly recommended the String Bean Chicken, but I guess that didn't make the cut as well. Nowadays I'm usually stuck with the Kung Pao Chicken as a second choice, which lately has lacked chicken in favor of more peanuts and peppers.
I'll be back just need some time to get over the disappointment again. Will update this...
