Uncle Poon's Restaurant — Restaurant in Spartanburg

CUSTOMER SERVICE IS AWFUL!!!! If I could give this business 0 stars I would! First they estimated an hour for delivery because of the weather. We waited for an hour and a half for the food to be delivered. When the man delivered the food he acted as though he was put-out for having to deliver in the rain. The man sped off before I could verify the entire order was in the bag. AN ENTIRE MEAL WAS MISSING! When I called Uncle Poon's back to ask for them to return my money, they proceeded to call me a liar and tell me that my entire meal was in the bag. They charged me $8 for General Tso's chicken and only delivered a bag of fried rice! They refused to refund the full amount (including delivery fee). She stated that she would only refund me $5.99. Outrageous... First I had to run next door for cash(no cards accepted here). Very inconvenient, since this was 4 separate work orders. Then one lunch order of shrimp and broccoli was basically all rice and three shrimp. Another had ordered the same and received at least 6 shrimp and more broccoli on hers. When she called to ask for replacement or refund, the worker told her to 'TAKE SOME FROM THE OTHER ONE!' Seriously?! She should go to her co-workers half eaten lunch and steal some shrimp? Pushed too far by this answer she immediately took the meal and receipt to Poon's (where a red headed young guy claimed to be the owner) to demand a refund, STILL she was refused. At this point she stepped outside, called the police, who came. They promptly returned her...

The restaurant is horrible. The customer service is TERRIBLE. There is one employee named Dave who is particularly rude. Our office orders from them frequently but they will not come inside the building and up to our suite to deliver; we have to meet them on the side of the building and the driver always grumbles that it is such a hassle to deliver to our company because he cannot park on the curb. We always tip well and place well-sized orders so I do not understand the issue. Also, the food is dry and you get mostly rice, not meat. I have written this place off and I wouldn't recommend it..
