Not sure how this place has a 4.6 star rating, this place is pretending to be something it isn’t.

The place is “clean” and empty or was when we visited, if it was as good as the reviews suggested this place should have been packed.

Staff was okay... but where they fail is the menu and ability to cook.

The menu mentions craft sodas but they only have one. We ordered the soda which looked like urine and the amount of sugar in it will put someone in a diabetic coma. It’s awful!

They offer Lemonade but it is “Minute Maid” so at least you know this is made correctly.

We ordered the Cuban. When it comes out it has a French baguette on it but it’s the opposite on how it should be. The pulled pork was dry, over cooked and plain gross.

The Mac n Cheese (shells) with pork was overcooked also, the cheese sauce was gritty.

The waitress swore this was the best Mac n Cheese, so we asked to sample it before hand but was told we can’t sample the food.

Guess they know it is awful.

The coleslaw tasted like you were eating leaves. It had an overpowering taste of grass. Don’t get it...

The $10 pretzel had so much salt on it you had to scrap it off before you could eat it. The beer cheese was also gritty tasting.

The chicken wings, yeah they were out. They charge $2 dollars for bone in wings (5 for $10) WOW!!!

Dessert, yep out of that too...

This place acts like they’re a gourmet restaurant but this is far from the truth. Their beer might be good but it’s unlikely.

The only thing worth eating was the beer battered steak fries!

Let’s be real here fries are ready to be cooked out if the bag, but, this place claims they batter their fries with beer batter before cooking. They look and taste like regular steak fries.

They do have an outdoor seating area but it was also empty. The theatre next door i would guess is only way they get customers.

We didn’t like this place, but you might. If you think you’re getting bar food you’re not. You’d be better off eating in a bowling alley. At least their...

This is to my waitress. I went to town with my daughter to get an oil change & wasn't planning on going out to eat, and wasn't really dressed for going to a meal, but I remembered how good your pretzel & cheese were the one time I had went there, so my young daughter & I stopped in. Our appetizer didn't with the food (which I didn't even complain about, I used to wait tables, i didn't complain about anything, even though the cheese was cold & stiff like old gravy, my daughter usually loves cheese, but she hated it this time. But that's not why I'm giving a bad Review. The 3 times my waitress came to my table she was all to anxious to walk away, when I was in mid sentence, &, at one point rolled her eyes, when i was just trying to ask for something. I was not even close to over demanding or rude, I always say please and thank you. Something she could learn. My daughter asked for a to go cup for her drink, as she does everywhere we go, in which point you walked behind the bar, talked a little smack with your waitress friends & sent someone else to fetch it. You Should face the other way when talking, as I am an expert at lip reading. Your entitled attitude and gossip is what makes wait staff so toxic at times. I want you to know, I'm notorious for over tipping if I get good service, even if the food is bad! But your prejudgement of me, my daughter and the fact you we're so rude, with your passive aggressive snobbery, when i was nothing but kind, earned you the lowest tip I've given in years. I tipped a waitress double the check a couple weeks somewhere else, just because she was kind to us, even though the food was terrible, (& i didn't complain) remember, just because someone doesn't look like they have money, doesn't mean they dont. You're toxic attitude towards other women, makes all...

1st stop at Civilian Brewing and my wife and I loved it. We tried 5 different beers between us and really enjoyed all of them. Ended up getting a growler of the Baltic Porter to take home.

We started with a pretzel appetizer with the beer cheese and beer mustard. The pretzel texture was just right. Both dips were good on their own and good mixed together too. Could have used just a little more salt on the pretzel.

For our entrees my wife had the falafel sandwich on naan and fries and was pleased with both. I also sampled them and agreed. I don’t know if the fries were made from fresh sliced potatoes but they sure tasted like it. My wife also had a slice of blackberry cheesecake that she said was fantastic.

I had the grilled chicken salad. It’s a basic dish that almost every place does but I can’t say I’ve had one I enjoyed more than this one. High quality, fresh ingredients really made the difference. Also the combination of ingredients worked well together. A nice, fresh mix of greens, tender grilled chicken breast, chopped bacon slices, diced tomatoes, diced red onion, pecans, shredded cheddar cheese, and a very good vinaigrette dressing rounded it out.

The two ladies working the bar and dining area were busy as the pub probably had 20-30 people in the early afternoon yet we never had to wait on service. Very friendly and attentive. Also informative as this was our first visit and had some questions. Drink and food orders were timely and correct.

The bar, dining area, and bathroom were all nice and clean. We’ll definitely add Civilian Brewing as a stopping place the next time we’re...

Embarking on a culinary adventure at this local brewery is akin to discovering an oasis of flavors in your own backyard. The mozzarella cheese sticks are not mere appetizers, but the prologue to an epic tale of taste. These three titans of cheese arrive steaming to your table, their warmth is inviting, offering the perfect stretch with each bite, and they are considerate enough not to scorch your palate. They come paired with a house-made ranch dressing that is as creamy as a sonnet is to a poet's heart. The burgers are a different saga altogether. Each bite is a cascade of flavors, with juices flowing like a river in spring. They're so deliciously messy, you'll be tempted to wear your napkin as a bib! But hey, if you're anything like me, you'll embrace the glorious chaos of it all. After all, the best meals are often the messiest, right? And if you're heading home afterward, dig in and let the flavors do their dance! To wash it all down, their house-made sparkling apple cider soda is a showstopper. Picture the effervescence of a cheerfully bubbling brook, with the crisp sweetness of the freshest apples. It's reminiscent of Martinelli's Sparkling Apple Cider, but dare I say, this local brew stands head and shoulders above the rest. In essence, this brewery is the perfect backdrop for a night out, a symphony of flavors that will leave your taste buds dancing with delight. The dinner for four, with two appetizers for the table, came to a very reasonable $88, gratuity included. The memories, however, are priceless. Truly, an evening well spent.
