Stay away! This place will steal your money if they run out of ingredients. This was genuinely the worst restaurant experience my roommate and I have run into, and somehow it didn't even involve getting the actual food. Now I have to go through a dispute process to undo the charge.
I placed a simple, prepaid order on the app. My roommate went to pick it up and was informed only in the store that they were out of the meat we'd both ordered. Their english was very poor, so I'll fully admit some things may have been lost in translation, but my roommate said that they didn't even initially offer any alternative. Despite already taking my money, they pretty much just said they were out of that meat type and left it at that. Only when my roommate directly asked if they could make the sandwiches anyways with a substitute meat did they actually start doing anything, and started on my roommate's sandwich (which they also somehow managed to make incorrectly). At this point, I was called over the phone to give them my substitute. I asked if I could just swap sandwiches entirely since I'd ordered the most expensive one, so any others would be cheaper. Not to mention I used to coupon to get any sandwich for a flat price. Their answer was no. Fair enough, I figured maybe it's a system thing. I asked if I could change the cheese type at least from the mobile order. Their answer was also no. Could I at least remove one of the veggies I picked? No.
Then they informed my roommate that there would be an additional charge for their sandwich. They wanted to charge me again to make these sandwiches for the prepaid, unfulfilled order. We were both pretty floored at this point and just told them to cancel the order. They said they couldn't because they already started on it. I wasn't paying a second price tag for something I'd already paid for, so my roommate left.
Sure enough, despite leaving with no food, the order was marked as picked up and I was charged for it. I'm not sure how specifically, but forcing someone to pay for services not able to be rendered, let alone attempting to double charge them for it, has to be illegal in some way. This was genuinely the most baffling experience I've...
Read moreI bought an e- gift card for Subway in CLOVERDALE, IN. When we tried to use it today we were informed that their Dist. Mngr. said for them to not accept the cards. So now I'm out of the money I spent however, they will be too. We normally go there a few times a month but I'd rather eat out of a dumpster now than to buy another thing from ANY Subway. I even called the home office & the woman was condescending & of no help whatsoever. I guess they don't realize that there are thousands of other places to eat where they can get your...
Read moreMe and my husband have been I. This location several times. Each time the employees have either been rude of have messed up one of our sandwiches. Today they messed up my husband's and I called to talk to the manager and was bounced between talking to the manager and the employee that served us. Suddenly they stopped talking and I heard the employee say "you talk to them your the manager." Then the phone was hung up. This experience was extremely rude and me and my husband are never going back to...
