Ive made two trips and have tried the dishes of others in our party. Both times, disappointing. So I finally decided to review. I give one star because they make a decent meatball. One more star because we had good service both times.
Minus 3 stars because this is not good food. I see a ton of 4+ reviews so I have to assume the reviewers have never had Italian outside of Spokane.
Worst Chicken Marsala I have ever had. The chicken was grilled with heavy italian herbs that overpowered the taste of everything including the Marsala sauce. This was both a good and bad thing because the Marsala sauce was over cooked and salty. So the fact that it overpowered it was kind of good thing....but not really. I had also asked that the mushrooms be left out and was told that I probably wanted to pick them out myself because the cooks would get mad when asked for those kinds of request. Seriously?? That comment right there guarantees there will not be a 3rd visit from me.
The lasagna taste like a Stoffers lasagna only with softer noodles....sooo it taste cheap. The tomato sauce was pretty much Chef Boi Arde. Overall pretty bland even though it had their meatballs are in it.
Bread was average. Herb butter, pretty good.
Side salads...olives, really? Lots of olives, way to many. I asked for Blue cheese dressing and it had a weird tang and I think it had Feta cheese...or maybe the salad had it. I thought Feta was Greek. And it was watery.
Raviolis had the same red sauce as the lasagna. Raviolis were soggy and boiled to long. Plate was a little watery.
Spagetti and meatballs were ok. But the noodles were over cooked and more of the red sauce from the raviolis and lasagna. But the meatballs were good.
The Alfredo was quite bland. Maybe a little more garlic or parmesan or both....something more was needed. And it was kind of dry, it definitely needed more sauce.
Again, service was good. But overall the food needs much...
Read moreFirst, my waitress was adorable, kinda shy and super sweet. The service was great. The bartender was told my drink was bitter and I had a question about what was in it and came over to my table to ask me. I didnt want to tell her it was the worst drink I have ever had in my life. There were other guests around me. So staff, pretty great.
A lemon drop, just so the staff knows is much better with lemon vodka, not botttom shelf, fresh lemons...not concentrate..or maybe old lemons....couldnt work that one out....and make sure your salt doesnt get mixed with your sugar for the rim.
The fried raviolis, super hard...like chipped tooth hard. Had to have been previously frozen or cooked way ahead of time. Or sat a while then reheated. Maybe microwaved.
The salad tasted fresh. Husbands soup was fine. But the bread was cold, stale tasting and very tough. Would have been much better if it was warm.
The entree verrrrry salty. Cheese on top seemed microwaved. Pretty bad.
Theres a lot of competition in Spokane. Its about money for your business. I could have made this meal at home for a fraction of the price we paid. We wont be back. Its sad because your staff represent your business well. Food and drinks,...
Read more2024 Thank you!!! Ferrero's is just too much. Each year, they feed Veterans, a free meal. Each year, I would get an Italian sausage sandwich. Today, I chose a spaghetti and meatball dinner. Before I left the restaurant, I was overcome and overwhelmed with gratitude. I have money, but not on me. I wanted to tip for the service. The greeter is always the best person that I've ever met. (That's the way I feel) So, I ordered a glass of wine just so that I could tip with my debit card. 2nd Harvest was giving 40 pounds of food from the market to each veteran. These establishments, the owners, managers and servers, and volunteers walk the walk and talk the talk!! Thank you to those in our American community who can find the way to offer up more than a free soft drink to an American veteran. It's not the handout that touched me. It was the attitude of those who handed out...(a tangible thanks that I felt). It was not the value of the item; it was the invaluable, genuine feeling of gratefulness passing between.. (gratitude, the shortest lived of all the emotions) I love Ferrero's. Everyone there.
Thanks to Texas Roadhouse and to The Department Of Veterans Affairs Mann-Grandstaff VA...
