WORST customer service EVER. Firstly, the full menu is not displayed at the counter. I had to ask if a single burger was still available because they only advertise double burgers. I ordered a Single Papa Burger and an order of onion rings with only water to drink and paid $12.58. As I was finishing up my meal in the far corner of the restaurant, I noticed a sign in the window advertising certain items "all day 2 for $6.00". Among those items were the two I had ordered. When I finished my meal, I took my receipt to the register and politely explained that, according to the advertisement, I had been over charged. I kindly asked if I may have a refund of the difference. I was told coupons have to be requested at the time of order. I explained that I didn't see the advertisement because it was around a corner, hidden from the register. The woman at the register countered my statement saying there are signs all over the store and it's not their responsibility to bring specials to the attention of the customer. I explained that the sign could not be seen from the register. Reluctantly, she agreed to refund the difference, BUT I was never to return to the store. There had been no heated exchange. Why would I be banned from the store for asking them to honor their advertisement? Then she began speaking to someone in her headphone who, apparently, gave her instructions not to refund the difference to me. Her reasoning to me was that if everyone ordered by the coupons or came back for a refund of the difference, the store would lose money. I questioned why it was advertised if they did not intend to honor it. She reiterated that it was my responsibility to look around the store to find the coupons and it's not the responsibility of the store to offer the discounts at the register. I argued that any other restaurant I ever go to always tries to ring up the better deal for it's customers - Jack-in-the-box, Arby's, McDonald's, etc. She insisted that if everyone came back to get the coupon, the store would lose money. At this point she adamantly denied me any refund and asked me to leave the store and never return. I asked for the manager. The manager was unavailable but she said she would give me the phone number. Again, the person on her headphones spoke to her and, suddenly, the woman at the register was not able to give me the manager's number and she simply stated the manager was not available. She reiterated that she would not refund the difference and told me I could stay or go but they would not give me a refund. NOW, my frustration had grown to the point that I (childishly) took the sign out of the hidden window and brought it to the front of the store so that customers could see it when they were ordering. NOW they were telling me unequivocally to get out of the store and never return. I promised that I would never be tempted to return.
I wish I had gotten a picture of the sign. It had not been returned to the window when I drove by later. Even if the offer was merely hidden in the corner or no longer in effect, I should have been refunded the difference between the advertised price and the price I paid. The way the situation was handled is just bad business. Not only will I never do business with this store again, I will encourage everyone I can, everywhere I go, to not do business...
Read moreAs a company KFC has really gone down the drain. The chicken is the only thing that is still actually good. The corn and biscuits are all right but they have such cheap crap to put on the biscuits (corn syrup based "Honey Sauce", and "Buttery Spread" instead of butter) that they aren't much good unless you can provide your own alternatives. And perhaps this is a long time ago now, but my sister and I used to love getting the corn on a stick to take as a healthy snack to the park.
Don't waste your money on the mashed potatoes and gravy; they might fill the stomach but they were so cheap and tasteless that we threw out half of ours unopened.
The staff was friendly but didn't provide or offer any plasticware or plates. Eating in, I ended up having to go back up to the counter three times to get all the essentials. When I explained the problem, they said they don't provide it for to-go orders, which ours had apparently been wrongly indicated as. As frustrating as this was as an eat-in order, to me it is far worse to leave them out of a to-go order. The manager seemed to think to-go orders suggest someone is taking food to go home but my family has never done that, having historically liked KFC for picnics. Can you imagine getting to a park in finding out you have no plates or utensils to eat things like mashed potatoes and gravy? I can understand not giving them to everybody automatically, but they should absolutely ask rather than assuming.
This particular location, however, does have a good deal with the root beer floats being $2 for any size. It's also nice to have the option of the burgers on the A&W menu in addition to the chicken of KFC. As memory serves, it was clean though the sole garbage can location was annoyingly far away from our table. The giant bucket of chicken in the middle of the ceiling looks...
Read moreI patiently waited for drive thru to open. I would've went in but I had two kids in the car with me. Despite being told their morning was a ruff start I was still patient with waiting for my food. I saw the girl bring the bag but sat it down instead of passing it out the window. Eventually someone who was digging her arm in the sweet tea container came over, made our drinks and then passed them out followed by the food. at me just say never will I be back! My first bite was a COLD thighs. Good thing I didn't go too far from the parking lot because I flipped my other chickens over and they were mushy raw battered. I bout threw up. When I went back in and stated I'm not sure why anyone would even pass something put like that, a young rude boy walked up greeted me with "what's up". I mentioned the same thing to him and with the most annoyed looked on his face stated well I'll just get you another one. While he's fixing the other one, I was certain to watch since at this point I just didn't trust my food being made. While I'm taking my babies fries out the box, the rude worker goes to pulling the box as I'm literally getting my babies fries out that I poured in the box! Lord knows I can't stand rude people and I almost gave him a dose of his own medicine. If you can't cook food correctly, and not show your passed because you screwed up then take a walk...
