UPDATE: Kudos to Owner Brian for giving us a second chance. Had their pizza again yesterday and it was very good! Three different types - and we had thin crust this time. Order was ready within a good time frame of the estimate and the staff was super nice! Glad we tried again and happy to support local business! We'll be back!
We used to order from Pizza Rita quite bit and had always enjoyed it. When we moved it was never convenient - but after several years, we thought "that sounds good!" What a terrible dissapointment. Ordered online for a quick pick up after work. I checked in when I arrived and was told it was just being made up - I was early, so that seemed ok. However, after another 15 minutes I was still told it would be soon. And, again....soon...FINALLY a good 25 minutes late the order was ready. No mention of any of the sodas I was to get for a pick up ...bummer. At this point my family was starved and dived right in to be so completely dissapointed. It wasn't at all what we remembered - kinda tasteless and mostly bread. As a "bonus" the crazy eights breadsticks I ordered ended up being Apple streudle with garlic on top - pretty gross. I waited a day and then contacted the owner directly via email prior to leaving any review. I wanted them to have the chance to respond, but haven't heard a thing. So - now I figure, bad pizza, bad customer service and poor management. No idea how this rates as...
Read moreBad service and bad food. What a great combo. When I first walked into the building, it was super hot and I was just kind of thinking yuck. So I decided to eat my food outside. When I got outside, my food was completely raw. The dough was nasty and completely raw. I took it back inside and their response was“they’re always raw they’re hard to make”. So I asked if they’re always serving raw food to people and the guy said “I don’t know I don’t know if this is unsafe to eat”. A lady came up and they just looked at each other for a minute and were talking And she said well, I can remake them for you, but they’re gonna be overcooked”. I suggested since they’re made by hand, maybe just make them a little thinner. He said we can’t do that. Do you even know how they’re made we cut up the dough and we twist it up. In my head, I just thought if your hand twisting it, can’t you make it not so much dough. I don’t know. Maybe it’s just me. But if you don’t know how to safely make food, should you be making other people food?
I don’t know what the deal is. We used to love this place. Definitely won’t be coming back.
Edit- I sent my other half in to get them and when he walked in they were talking shit about me and other people returning there food infront of customers. Openly admitting it’s a problem but blaming the customers and my food indeed...
Read moreI do not like to write negative reviews but this was pretty s**tty. My daughter got $25 in pizza Rita cash a couple years back at a charity auction, so we paid for them for a good cause. We finally found them, she had lost em cause she’s a kid. She’s been asking to use them so tonight we double checked them. They had the company name, address and no expiration date. My husband went to get the pizzas she wanted for her and her friends slumber party and I guess they claimed they won’t take em because despite the business still being in existence at the same address and with the same name they are under new ownership? Well a business should honor all coupons in their name regardless of ownership change especially when you bought the business that issued the coupons and are still at the listed location and using the same name. $25 was barely going to make a dent in the order he was gonna place for 7 ppl but instead they will make nothing and we will use another restaurant. New ownership or not you should honor the businesses promotions/coupons etc that you operate especially when they are still valid with no expiration date or restrictions. I get if it was expired or for an item you don’t have or heck if you had changed names or your location wasn’t listed but to any customer it’s a valid tender for the...
