We come to the location for my Son's Soccer Games through SYSA Organization for the past ten years. They have two designated parking lots that are very small, & its very difficult to find a single spot to park as it is not permitted to park along the edge of the actually Park it self. Besides having two to three large youth Soccer Fields located on the south side of the park they also have a Large Playset for younger children to play on, small water Splash pad ( during the summer time) & atleast two Baseball Fields as well. Normally there is a Concession stand open during Spring & Fall for families to enjoy drinks & snacks but as it gets colder outside they clo6it & all there is to use is several outhouses through out different locations along the parks outer area which are not cleaned regularly so they are usually discusting. But all in all its an okay park to spend time as a family or watch a game...

Franklin Park has always been the centerpiece of my growing up area neighborhood it's an old school Park with the steel the traditional wide open areas to run by kite Scott baseball diamonds it's got a covered area for for gatherings that's the waterpark the installed for the kids was a very very needed upgrade all around the city for the party pack and the parking is easy it's in and out the two parking areas are on the north side of the park the south side of the park and the west side of the park the west side of the park on the south side of the park. The average size parking lot they're both about the same on the Southside it accommodates the baseball stadium and the soccer fields more parking on the South side definitely the bathrooms are pretty much centered in the park not to mention the bathrooms...

Nice Park in our neighborhood. Lots of room to do your thing and rarely is is crowded. Places to relax and look at the sky. It is safe and has many distractions for folks to enjoy. Also well maintained and pretty clean as well. If a beggars bother you, just tell them to leave and not bother you. Sometimes they are there when they get kicked out of the city. They seem to like parks like everyone else. Any issues, just use your phone and record it. That makes anyone back away. Spokane has been pushing the homeless into residential areas lately. This kind of thing needs to stop immediately, Because the crimes in neighborhoods has increased and the police are not allowed to come unless there are weapons involved. Anyway, you will...

I hadn’t been to a park in ages. But since it was Easter and an egg hunt sounded fun we came to one of my favorite childhood spots. Growing up, I lived only a block away from Franklin Park, and have tons of wonderful memories from the baseball games to playing with the kids in the playgrounds after school to just riding my bike all the way around it, since it’s right about a mile in circumference. We flew kites last Easter Sunday. We looked for eggs and we just had a great time. There was plenty of parking even on a Sunday afternoon and plenty of space for doing everything we needed to do with our 15 person group. Next time, I will have to remember my drones, professional, kites, frisbees, and all the sports stuff to have a better time.
