Nice Park in our neighborhood. Lots of room to do your thing and rarely is is crowded. Places to relax and look at the sky. It is safe and has many distractions for folks to enjoy. Also well maintained and pretty clean as well. If a beggars bother you, just tell them to leave and not bother you. Sometimes they are there when they get kicked out of the city. They seem to like parks like everyone else. Any issues, just use your phone and record it. That makes anyone back away. Spokane has been pushing the homeless into residential areas lately. This kind of thing needs to stop immediately, Because the crimes in neighborhoods has increased and the police are not allowed to come unless there are weapons involved. Anyway, you will love the park.

I hadn’t been to a park in ages. But since it was Easter and an egg hunt sounded fun we came to one of my favorite childhood spots. Growing up, I lived only a block away from Franklin Park, and have tons of wonderful memories from the baseball games to playing with the kids in the playgrounds after school to just riding my bike all the way around it, since it’s right about a mile in circumference. We flew kites last Easter Sunday. We looked for eggs and we just had a great time. There was plenty of parking even on a Sunday afternoon and plenty of space for doing everything we needed to do with our 15 person group. Next time, I will have to remember my drones, professional, kites, frisbees, and all the sports stuff to have a better time.

Big park, lots of space for different activities. Open spaces to play/train with your dog, lots of trees though too. Didn't have any issues with untrained off leash dogs (all dogs were either on a leash or extremely obedient to their owners so I felt safe with my own dog there) some parks have issues with people's unleashed pets chasing yours/rude pet owners. Didn't encounter that at all here which was nice. Kinda wish there were more trash cans as I had to carry around a poo bag for a while but at least there were some. Good parking.

I like the park, the location and the facilities at the park, kids friendly. However, I gave it 2 stars because the bathrooms are really not good, uncomfortable getting there, but for necessity only. After 4 years, there is still nothing to add except the bathrooms are getting worse than 4 years ago, so plan accordingly. I will keep my 2 stars for the same reason.

This is one of the bigger parks in Spokane. It has baseball fields, a large gazebo, splash pad, basketball courts, playground equipment, restrooms, BBQs and picnic tables. It's often very busy.
