Ladies, this place has everything you need to enhance your face, hair, hands, nails, and other things I become very uncomfortable writing about. So there, five stars. Speaking of being uncomfortable, ladies, please plan your trips to Ulta without the men in your lives. First, understand we love you and the way you look. We appreciate how much time and effort you invest in how you present yourselves when you are out of the house. We men, however, don't have much desire to see...how the sausage is made, to paraphrase a political term. You go through a lot. There is so much face stuff, hair stuff, skin stuff you do, it's incredible. And we men just run some water, maybe a comb hits the head, we throw on a probably dirty shirt and pants, and really could care less about a proper skin care procedure, or straightening/curling/conditioning/coloring/de-coloring and whatever else goes on. To combat the sheer boredom of walking with you through all the stacks, I found it entertaining to see perfectly "altered" young ladies, in pairs and trios, posing for selfies, utilizing the multitude of mirrors, which seem to be located every two to three feet, upper and middles shelves, EVERYWHERE. But, when my entertainment encourages their scorn, well, it's not so much fun, anymore. Wow. I really needed to get that off my chest. I was only there because my wife was recently injured, and she needed a spotter in case she lost her balance. And, I was the only guy there. Hmmm... I guess you ladies already know what I'm laying...
Read moreI went in to the store for the first time today. No one offered to help me, I went up and asked a guy if they carried a certain makeup remover, and he was kind and assisted me. I later asked a red head with wavy shoulder length hair, if she could assist me, since she was just standing around. She was unsure if they carried what I was looking for. A while later, I asked her if she can do a color match on foundation, she said sure, and walked me towards the Estee lauder area, and said she will call someone to come do a match. I waited there for 15 minutes, while she just stood at her station, looking at herself in the mirror. I finally found a lady in a white coat, and asked her if she can assist me. She said yes, and was so kind. She actually matched my foundation quickly! I would hope for the $150 I spent there today, that I would have at least had better service. Maybe because I am hispanic, they figured I would waste their time and not buy, but they were wrong. I will definitely try a different...
Read moreThe people working at this location were nice and bubbly.
However the Ulta customer service (via online/telephone) was supposed to merge my gift cards so that I could use my card online. They said they would send me my gift card electronically via email to which they never did. I went to check my gift cards at this location to see if there was anything on them and there weren't any balances on my gift cards. I contacted customer service again and they said that this was a common thing for the gift card to be sent to the wrong email or not be sent at all. I am still waiting on my gift card. The customer service said that it will be longer than 24-48 hours because the system is down.
The solution to this would be to allow someone to use multiple gift cards online at checkout. Only allowing one gift card, and then making someone jump through all these hoops is so inconvenient.
I understand that this has nothing to do with the employees at this location I just wanted to vent about online ordering...
