I found myself in a bad position earlier with the Independence Day holiday coming and realizing I'd forgotten to hit the bank for my laundry quarters... I called here and there and everywhere! Every place I called and went to was rude and unable to accommodate me! I was a bit panicked as I'd started several loads, but then realized how short I was of quarters, which were needed to dry the washed loads! I know from previous trips to Snoops that they have a few machines in there and some pool tables... They are right by my house so I figured it was worth asking if they had a machine for quarters there.... The fabulous lady who answered regrettably informed me that they did not, however, she asked why I needed them. When I told her why she was so sweet and told me to swing by and she could help me out with a roll! Saved the day! Both of the ladies who were working on the 3rd of July evening are absolute PEACHES! I made sure to buy a shot of whiskey (even though I had a fresh bottle waiting at home lol) and leave a tip! My point isn't that you should come here for laundry money... It's that the level of customer service I received was just an incredibly welcome shock! Thank you so much ladies! I rarely go to the bar these days, but when I do it's always to Snoops. And now I'm going to make a point of going more often just to show my appreciation! Thanks for the love! XOXO PS Thanks...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe food was alright, nothing to shake a stick at. Kinda pricey as well.
I gave a one star rating for the following reasons:
Right away the bartender gave excuses as to why we might have to wait an hour for our meal- apparently she doesn't know how to make the menu items. She told us we might have to wait until other employees arrived. When we made to leave, all of a sudden we could get our meal if we ordered right away before the other bartender left.
Partway through our meal, the bartender asked if we wanted to pay our bill. Talk about feeling rushed! The bar wasn't busy, either.
We were told the amount due- no itemized bill was offered.
Upon presenting my card the bartender told us they are cash only, but we could use their expensive ATM to get cash. Damndest thing- their sign reads No Checks; it says nothing about not taking cards.
I seriously doubt we will go back. We certainly didn't feel like valued customers, and what service we received felt like an effort on their part. I wouldn't recommend this place if it were the only place open...
Ā Ā Ā Read more5 stars because nothings perfect, that's why I give this Spokane staple a 5 star. I have come here maybe 15 times in the last 5 years. I am a small guy but I always feel welcome here, it is a pool bar, 8 tables like someone said, so there are usually just as many people playing as there are drinking, a good mix of social people as opposed to people just doing there own thing, a great place to feel welcome at. The waitress was the star of the show, she checked on us 6 times in a little over an hour, pretty much timing it perfectly one gulp before a finished pint, just making the experience even more worth it. I look forward to experiences like that and as such I will look forward to the next, thank you. And if management reads this, give that girl a raise before I pay her more to work for me. She worked 9/7/19 night from at least 10 to close, bleach blonde. Pay her what she deserves, more. Edit: technically was 9/6...
