Zip's Drive In — Restaurant in Spokane

I ordered my food and drove home to eat. When I got home I realized they forgot the cheese in my burger. I tried calling but they answered and hung up the phone multiple times. It’s close so I drove back with proof of purchase. When I arrived I was told cheese is extra now and I informed them that the menu stated my burger came with cheese. They told me that’s not the case and If I didn’t like it than not to come back. I asked them if they don’t answer the phone now either and they stated they are too busy, when I was the only car in the drive-thru. I drove off as the customer service was unbelievably garbage. As I’m driving off the employees stood in the windows and flipped me off as another gal employee was clapping her hands and waving her arms for me to come into the building to fight. I have never seen adults behave this poorly and it’s amazing that this place is still in business. I will be sharing this experience with everyone I know and posting it on social network. Check your drive through orders! I loved going here when I grew up in town but while visiting family i went through the drive through ordered some fries, milkshake and corndogs Got to my families and fries were missing. Tried to call for 10 min straight and no one answered the phone. So drove the 5 min back and then talked to the manager. She was not very sympathetic and only returned my $2.16 and didnt give back my reciept until ask. (I needed the receipt for records). Seems small but I had planned to share fries with my kids and didn't have enough so they were upset but by the time I ate (wasn't going to waste the food I did get), called and drive back there was no point getting the fries. The manager said she could only answer the phone and they were busy but I let the phone ring till my phone decided it couldn't get through and then called 2 more times right after. There is no dine in at this store still due to covid scare. The service is drive through. I must say that the food was not very tasty, though the fries were cooked thoroughly and were crisp. I had a Wrangler, tiny amount of BBQ sauce, I had asked for onions and there weren't any. You have to ask for them. My husband had a Bacon Cheese burger and onion . His hamburger had like 6 little pieces of onion. He said his meal was so so. The strawberry milkshake was almost tasteless. Just a faint taste of strawberry My hubs chocolate milkshake tasted better . The cost for 2 hamburgers, fries and 2 milkshakes was $32.00. Which is very high priced I think. Perhaps they were trying to save money by skipping the onions and all, or maybe there is a low supply of onions. I don't know, but shipping costs have gone up so I forgive the lack of onion.
