I was meeting another party at the restaurant at 10:00 AM on Saturday morning. August 15, 2015. Two of us arrived at the same time 9:50 AM and went inside to get a table. We were put on a waiting list which is fine. We were seated at 10:15 AM. At 10:20 AM the server came over and gave us menus and asked if we wanted coffee and we said yes. About that time, our third party arrived. We ordered around 10:30 AM. Our server was excellent, and our meals were delivered in good time. We had just finished eating and a man - and stress man not gentleman, stopped by our table and asked if everything was alright. we replied yes, and continued to finish our breakfasts and coffee. The server stopped by several times and refilled our coffee as needed. There were other people seated who had been seated prior to us and were still there in the restaurant. Our server brought us our bill, and since I was paying for all three breakfasts - which came to $28.00 and change, and I got out $33.00, which included a $5.00 tip for the server. The cash and the bill were laying on the table, and the same MAN came over and said "I'll take that for you.", and I told him the overage was for the server. He did not say thank you, just quickly took the money out of my hand and left. He proceeded to stop by three more times, and the last time, he said, and i quote"Are you about ready to go?" The family who was seated behind us turned around and said "Wow, that was rude." and it certainly was. That same family said "I guess our money isn't any good either and we will never be back here." They also said they would let their friends and family know of the ignorance and nasty attitude of the manager. I do not like being embarrassed or rushed in front of en entire restaurant, and I called him over to talk to him about his attitude. He proceeded to get loud and over talk me and told me we had been there for over two hours which is a bare faced lie. The three of us who ate there today patronize several other Breakfast Stations in the area, and when I get out of town guests - which is quite often, I always took them there. But, from now on I will do everything in my power to let people know how we were treated by the management. I am a nurse, and am acquainted with a lot of Doctors and other medical professionals in the area, and will let them know how poorly we were treated by the management. My money will be better spent elsewhere...
Read moreI’ve been here a few times with no issues. This time everything was poor to bad. I’m sorry to give a negative review. I would have said something at the restaurant, but my companion is very uncomfortable when someone he’s with “causes a scene”. He ordered the same meal I did except the kind of toast and he barely ate half his meal. I tasted everything but essentially left a full plate. The eggs and potatoes had a funny taste and the bacon was rubbery. I did ask for my wheat toast to be properly as opposed to under toasted which happens a lot. Instead of brown, crisp toast, every slice was burnt black. Anyone could see that but the waitress served it anyway. When she brought the check, she looked at my full plate and black toast and offered a to go container to which I declined. My friend was uncomfortable and wanted to go so I paid and left. First issue, what happened to the scrambled eggs and potatoes? It was as if they were cooked on an unclean grill because the aftertaste was the same for both. Rubbery bacon is obvious. But how could s simple and polite request for toasty toast turn into black and charred bread? Lastly, never before have I seen a wait person at the end of a meal see a full plate and not address the issue. Ask if there’s a problem or would I like something different. Who orders an $11 breakfast and doesn’t eat it unless there’s a problem? And please don’t tell me it was my responsibility to convey my displeasure with the food or that the waitress is not a mind reader. My uneaten and burnt food spoke volumes for me. Not to mention, it’s common sense 🤷♀️
My friend’s feelings are more important than money so I ended up spending over $30 there then going through the drive through at McDonald’s after I left because I was still hungry!! ...
Read moreJust wanted to take a moment to acknowledge Steve and his team for their professionalism and candor. I visit for breakfast (and peace) at least once per week accompanied by my service dog. Over the past year, we have always been treated with respect and kindness.
I felt compelled to write this review after our visit today went a little differently than usual. Unfortunately, there was a fellow patron who decided to rudely voice their displeasure with my service dog’s lack of a vest. Normally, I would have taken the opportunity to help educate this person but, the team was able to diffuse the situation so quickly that I had no idea anything happened at all.
After being seated, I wanted to apologize for some of the shedding Korra had done on the carpet but, without hesitation, Steve expressed HIS apologies for the behavior of said angry patron. Apparently, after trying to reason with this person, they decided to leave due to Steve refusing to ask us to do the same. Never have I been so quickly humbled by a thoughtful gesture while out in public with Korra (my cognitive support and medical alert dog).
To Breakfast Station - Spring Hill: THANK YOU for your consideration, support and patience. I won’t soon forget it!
To the angry woman who left before we could meet: I hope you find some semblance in knowing that Korra would save your life without hesitation if you ever needed it. Have a...
