First off, location was excellent for weeki wachee springs. Directly across the street. Price, unbeatable. We went for one night, stayed for 3. My sons and I were doing a mini road trip for 10 days through Florida and due to the EXTREME rain and flooding throughout the majority of the state for four-five days, this small patch of Hernando county going up to Dunellon was BEAUTIFUL and SUNNY! so we stayed for two nights up that way, got some rain 🌧️ driving through Beverly Hills and then once we hit Spring Hill the weather was awesome! Which is , again, why we kept renewing our nights. We loved the area! The motel was clean. We extensively searched for bugs before we brought anything into the room (110) , and there were zero. Of course typical mattresses are stained up but covered by mattress covers and very clean. No hairs. No crumbs, no stains. Nothing! Very impressed. The floor was clean, bathroom clean, towels replenished and set up in a cute design , extra trash bags inside cans (although the trash cans are super tiny and could be bigger) , mirrors had no fingerprints, dust was non existent on the baseboards and tank of toilet, on AC, or any other surface. So housecleaning does amazing. The pool was ultra clean, never more than a handful of people there, clean, relaxing. Passageways clean as well.
Now on to the other things. The toilet in 110 clogged three times . It was unfortunate . Each time I called Chris (maintenance man) came over within a reasonable time and never more than 45 minutes to take care of the issue with a snake. This toilet has bad water pressure. Chris is a hard worker and he really went above and beyond by cleaning the toilet after the snake each time, offering friendly conversation, and had a good demeanor while keeping his professionalism. There is a large exposed outlet on the ground in the room beside the AC unit. That should be covered up. The water turns on in the sink SO FAST it roughly splashes you and everything’s else in its path. There are no fridges or microwaves. No coffee pot . No iron or board, no hairdryer. No shampoo or toothpaste. I believe there was a little soap. This motel is very low budget and no frills however it is clean and seems safe enough. The people at front desk are nice enough, although one lady seems like she is a know it all. Maybe she does know everything? lol. She was always nice to me, however I was taken aback at her telling me that in order to get fresh towels (this was our third night check in ) then I had to bring back my old towels to the front desk……… she gave me a white trash bag. And set the fresh towels and wash clothes on the counter and would t allow me to take them until I brought back the used ones….. 🤦♀️. The other lady that checked me in on day 2 was super nice to me. I really liked her and her demeanor. I wish I would have gotten her name. Very very nice. The guy that checked us in was nice as well. He did call us bc some lady behind us called and said she heard “fighting” 😂 it was my two boys having a nerf gun war. He just asked us to keep it down. Hey at least he was on it when someone calls. I have to give him props for that!! I seen him next morning and apologized. Oh! And no breakfast, continental or otherwise. They do put out coffee from 6-9 I think are the hours. I am appreciative of that little perk bc it saved me from having to drive to a Dunkin or Starbucks or gas station etc for a cup of coffee to start my morning. I can tell by some random conversations I overheard ppl live there and work out of there. Take that as you may…… I’m not going to trash this hotel bc I would stay there again! And I trusted it with my kids! But I’m not one to knock someone’s hustle.. Weed came through our room every day, but it is legal and I don’t mind it! I wish someone would have asked me if I wanted some , my only complaint! 🤣 no just kidding…Or am I 🤔 Dollar general also shares a parking lot with this place. 👍 There is also a kiddie pool! For the babies. It goes up to like 15 inches or something like that. 1 ice maker...
Read moreSo the first couple days we stayed here we had outstanding service. Me and a friend were going through some hardship and we taking the bus met this awesome couple that offered us to cone hangout by the pool with out kids and even offered to pay for a room. But since we found a place to sleep that night we didn't want to take advantage or over step out blessing. They were awesome enough to feed us and let me and my child take a shower and enjoy their beautiful pool. We were told that we were DNR because guest are not allowed to use the pool. Mind you we didn't stay answering left when the pool closed. No one had said anything that day to me or the nice couple. So a friend of mine booked a room a couple days later where we were told we can't stay there. no one really elaborated as to why or the policy in awe honesty, I think the manager was upset because she seemed highly inebriate it. We're very much under the influence to the point where and she couldn't even keep her eyes open. Was nodding out while talking to guess and myself, my six-year-old son asked me what's wrong with her. So yeah, I politely asked her, are you okay? Do you need something? You need a cup of water. Do you need to sit down? She was immediately offended and combative, but because I was there with my son. I just walked off . She definitely noticed me when I walked in with my friend which she was told that she cannot stay there. I've had to wait 7 to ten business days for her money back remind you she had nothing to do with the incident, which in all honesty.I don't even understand what exactly happened. They were giving us the runaround over the phone, so I just wanted to elaborate to them. That it wasn't me that broke the room and that it's fine that I was not going to stay there. But my friend needed a place to stay. Because, you know, the shelter was packed and wasn't ready for her. She had no money. She could not wait 7 to 10 business days. This is absolutely ludicrous, the professionalism in this facility. Is absolutely gross. If there is a policy where guests can't stay at the pool fine, I don't make the rules for your company right? But what there should be doing is customer service kindness, respect and someone that is not falling over. Hi intoxicated the manager with the glasses and the fake eyelashes. It should absolutely be fired and I will tell all my friends and all my women in the family. Domestic violence, shelter, not to come to this facility not to bring their vouchers . And it's not that we're making up the story. We literally have our children. We literally have black eyes and marks on our face to do this, to mothers. In need is absolutely disgusting? And you shouldn't suffer the consequences which I don't know why. For someone else being DNR for ask to help someone that looked like they needed it . You guys need to do better and my friends should be...
Read moreThere was blood stains on my first room. Took photos and asked to be moved and for a refund on that first night due to the biohazardous conditions. After making another reservation a few days later, due to my mother being very sick in the ICU still (motel 6 was the closest to the hospital), I was told I wasn't welcomed in the property by the manager Faith Rubin. I, in shock, asked what happened and why I wasn't allowed to no longer stay. Faith kept repeating that she did not NEED to tell in a very rude tone and just left my aunt and I in the street with no where to sleep for that night. Might I add my aunt and I were the only Hispanic customers (that I noticed), which makes me believe this was racially motivated. I called corporate and asked why I was left in the street and not given a reason as to why, and they said it was because of a "disturbance" and I was told that Faith Rubin WAS actually supposed to tell me a general reason as to why I was no longer welcomed. This made no sense considering all we did was leave to the hospital every morning and come back around 8 pm to go straight to bed, and repeat the following day. I'm not sure where a disturbance was created. Horrible service, I felt discriminated against. Might I add that this was also the second time I stayed here to visit my mom in 2 seperate emergencies due to her health, and in both times I wasn't even told there was a wifi connection/password while, I witnessed, other people (of a different race than I) were giving the password during check in without even asking. Do not recommend staying here unless you want to be left...
