Let me start by saying that the Fulin's location in Brentwood is my go-to Chinese restaurant in the Nashville area and that my experience there is always solid. I have tried the locations in Murfreesboro, Franklin (now closed) and now Spring Hill. Brentwood is good. The others have all been bad. The Spring Hill experience I had was the worst. I don't just mean the worst of the four Fulin's locations I have tried, I mean the worst Chinese food I have ever paid for.
We ordered fried pork dumplings and Crab Rangoon to start. Both came out within two minutes. Our experience is that dumplings take a while, often 20 minutes or more, so to get them so quickly was surprising. The Crab Rangoon was actually good. The dumplings look and tasted like they were leftovers, possibly from the day before. They were deep fried! The pork was grossly overcooked and dry, the wrapper crispy all around. This is the first time in my life I have ever left pork dumplings without eating them. We ordered Wonton soup. It was hot, but had no flavor. The wontons were not fully cooked and were doughy. Our meal came before we could half finish our appetizers, but as bad as the soup and dumplings were, it was welcome. I had orange chicken, my wife Kung Pao Chicken. After sitting our plates down, I asked her if our meals came with rice (knowing it did) and the waitress asked if we wanted fried or steamed. After another trip, we got our rice. She forgot, it happens, not a big deal, but this was just another thing that happened on the visit. My chicken was piping hot, but so dried out, I feel certain it had been reheated. I tried one more piece just to make sure I didn't just get a piece of bad chicken. It was just as bad. I asked my wife how hers was and she shook her head. We tried the rice. Dry and hard. We asked for the check with (nearly untouched) plates of food on our table. The server never asked if something was wrong, just if we wanted to-go boxes. No, thank you. This is the first time I have ever left plates full of food on a table and walked away. I even eat the cheap frozen dumplings from the grocery. I love dumplings! These were not edible. The ONLY thing on our table that was fit to eat was the Crab Rangoon. (The water was OK) Fulin's Brentwood location is not the best Chinese food in the country, but it is about as good as it gets in Middle Tennessee. It is good. We have eaten there dozens of times and never had a bad meal. We have not had a good meal at ANY of the other locations yet, and have fully learned our lesson and will not visit any of them again. I cannot recommend...

The man and woman who run this place treat delivery drivers like GARBAGE. The one establishment in Spring Hill that does so. So much disdain for people that are HELPING them get their food to their customers.
Unwarranted unpleasant experience every time I walk into this restaurant to pick up an order.
Example - waiting for 10+ minutes for an order that should already be ready. A bag comes out and is placed right next to the woman. She does not even look at the bag for a good 60 seconds. I lean over to see if it's my order(it is) and get completely chastised because I got even close to the bag(I did NOT try and take the order- would never).
I back off. Woman looks at the other delivery driver(who just walked in) and helps her first....as if to make a point.
In addition- two kitchen workers sitting right inside the kitchen door, having a loud, foul, expletive-laden conversation that anyone at the bar could hear the ENTIRE time I'm waiting. I'm a big kid and my feelings were not hurt.....but I can appreciate how classless this is for ANY business.
Could care less how the food is. Very unprofessional restaurant. Would decline EVERY single delivery order from here ever again, if it didn't negatively impact my delivery stats and ultimately my wallet.
Every driver I've run into has the same experience and feeling about this establishment.
Edit: I understand that some restaurants experience theft from fraudulent drivers, and that this may be the reason for the disdain. This easily mitigated by a myriad of methods other restaurants already implement....and that this place does not.
tldr: Don't take your...
Read moreMy experience here was terrible. My homegirl and I waited over an hour to get our food (which should NOT have taken nearly that long, we know because we've been there before and we only ordered two rolls). Roughly halfway through our long wait, the waitress comes up to us and assures us we have not been forgotten about. At the time, we were starving but relieved to hear that our food was just taking a while. It turns we were lied to, because they in fact DID forget about us. After over an hour of waiting, the waitress comes up to us again and admits our order had never been put in; but tells us our order was finally being made. So we finally receive our two rolls that took an extreme amount of time.. and guess what? When the check rolled in, we got no discount. Zero! And we didn't even receive an apology. The funny thing is that I saw other people get discounts and they only waited a portion of the time we did. In conclusion, they completely disregarded two girls who just wanted two small sushi rolls. I was SO angry and disappointed by the time we got our food that I wasn't even hungry anymore. DO NOT EAT HERE IF YOU WANT...
