I normally don't have issues with this location, but I have to share my experience today. I ordered a caramel ribbon crunch with extra caramel and no whip like I always do. They gave me a caramel Frappuccino, but I didn't realize it until I was down the road. It's for my son and he tasted it and said it didn't taste right. I looked and saw that it was not what I ordered. My son does not like the taste of coffee and with Frappuccino the coffee taste is stronger Than the coffee in a caramel ribbon crunch for whatever reason. I went back through the drive-through and told them that I ordered a caramel ribbon crunch, and My son received a caramel Frappuccino and does not like the taste of coffee so I want a caramel ribbon crunch. She proceeded to tell me that A caramel ribbon crunch has coffee in it. She was missing my entire point, the fact that it had coffee in it did not matter. When I got up to the window, this chick is still arguing with me about whether or not there's coffee. So then she has me a caramel ribbon crunch with no crunch so I handed it back and said is this not supposed to come with the little crunchies? So she took it back and added the crunchies. Then me thinking I'm glad this little session is over..... Another girl comes to the window Says to me "I just talked to the girl who took your order and You Said a caramel Frappuccino." So I said Obviously Because I do not order caramel Frappuccino's. I never have and I never will. I ordered caramel ribbon crunch. Then this chick literally brought up the whole caffeine thing again. Dead in the eye and said You're not understanding that the amount of caffeine or coffee or whatever in the drink does not matter. My whole point is I ordered a caramel ribbon crunch not a caramel Frappuccino. Honestly, this was the most Ridiculous and juvenile visit that I've ever had and the two girls sitting there arguing with me I was...
Read moreThis review is about my experience today. Some staff needs additional training. On several occasions I ordered a custom PSL including extra whip (I do this because they sometimes skimp on it). I ordered on the app in the parking lot. Gave it a minute and got in the drive thru. When at the speaker to check in they said, “ok we’re working on that now”. (I was glad because I knew the whipped cream wouldn’t have melted by the time I get it) When I picked up my PSL I checked it right away while at the window because they sometimes don’t put the whip - no whipped cream at all. I say, “this is supposed to have whip” (I had ordered extra) he takes it back to fix it saying “it must’ve melted”. No, it didn’t, it never had it or there would be whipped cream residue under the lid- there wasn’t anything on it not even the pumpkin spice topping. It looked like the standard latte foam only. It was maybe 3 minutes from the time I ordered to when I got in line, which moved quickly. He put a small amount of whip, not extra, and gave it back. I wasn’t happy but I didn’t send it back a second time. The cup didn’t have a sleeve on it either so it was really hot. This is not the first time this has happened here. If they’re out of sleeves then they need to double cup. (Another time I ordered decaf, and shortly after, I realized they gave me regular which upset my stomach for the rest of the day and gave me jitters) PSL is supposed to have whipped cream. They should know this, it’s a staple. I’ve been getting PSL since they came out with them. Seems like some baristas don’t pay attention sometimes, and historically, mobile orders get low priority compared to if I ordered in the store. They often forget to give me food items I order. Extra training, and pay attention to what you’re doing. This is expensive coffee. I tip according to the service I receive. Today they weren’t...
Read moreAvid Starbucks fan here, I travel a lot for work and frequent locations all over the country. Just happen to live next to this one and it’s always a sad experience. I’ve come to the conclusion to give up on this location. Today’s experience was the last straw for me being a patron here. Store could not make any expresso drinks because their machines were down, again. They were rude, most likely from pissed customers having to figure out how to sub their order at the drive-thru, and then again at the window. Zero customer experience today. No greeting, no suggestive order assistance based on being down, no add-on suggestions, no order confirmation, no exit greeting - just a big fat “don’t give a crap” mentality.
Region/District leadership need to dive into this locations operational management, including the store manager. This location is constantly out of stock of drink ingredients, machines are consistently down and the staff is not Starbucks brand. When you do get to order what you want, you can almost put money on it being inconsistent to other locations. Wrong syrups, missing ingredients, etc. To pass it back in the window invites someone to the window stating the drink is correct when it’s clearly not based on taste. I completely understand occasionally having hiccups based on volume but this place isn’t being managed correctly, and is seriously what I would consider brand risk to the surrounding fleet.
Maybe you’ve made a mistake by adding this location to our area if you’re going to keep it bare bones on equipment, low inventory and employees who don’t support your mission. Looks like a Starbucks - but far from it in service...
