On our last visit in June 2023, we were greeted soon after walking in. Then the lady asked if we'd be interested in ordering on one of the kiosks. I immediately said no! She said she could take our order at the counter but before long they will have customers only use the kiosks. I said then I won't be coming in. I told her I know it's not her decision so I'm not upset with her. She said she understands completely! I said it's taking a job away. Another employee immediately spoke up and said yes it is! The first lady told me when they put the kiosks in at The Villages, sales dropped over 40% within 2 weeks. I told her I believe it! There's too many people who believe like I do. It's taking away a job position and I don't work there so I shouldn't take my own order. Just like a certain chain store who thinks customers should scan and bag their own groceries. Uhhhh nope!! I won't do that either! That's taken away several jobs per store! So maybe I'll go through the drive-thru and then take my food inside to eat 🤣🤣 Ok, end of public service announcement 🙃 The employees were nice and the food was what you'd expect from Taco Bell. They need to quit being such cheapskates with the cheese though. There's only a few little thin shreds on a crunchy taco 🙄 Update: October 19, 2023 They get 5 stars for food and service now 🙂 I went through the drive-thru and the lady working was such a breath of fresh air! She was very nice and polite on the speaker and when I was at the window! The receipt says the cashier was Carolyn F. I hope the manager and other employees realize what a gem they have interacting with customers! And kudos to the kitchen staff too! My bacon crunchwrap was...
Read moreThis might be crazy to review a Taco Bell but let me tell you… I just had the most incredible experience at this Taco Bell.
Tiffany is the manager on duty who clearly sets the tone for the team, and I believe the lady‘s name at the window was Shelly or Sherry.
In any case, not only did she pleasantly welcome me to Taco Bell through the speaker and ask how my day was, she also responded & thanked me when I asked her how she was. (This is how guests should be engaged from the first moment of contact with a business!)
She took my order & confirmed it was correct, then upsold me a pop for an extra dollar! Now I don’t normally drink pop, but it was so easy to say YES which is exactly what providing customer service that sells is all about: Increasing the value exchange for both the business and the customer!
My order was quickly & pleasantly delivered to me with a smile from everyone at the window and wound up being fresh and piping hot!
Seriously, in this day and age food service standards have become so low that my experience here today couldn’t go without review.
And if Shelly or Sherry (sorry) is ever interested in leaving the food service business I’d love to hear from her. Customer service reps like this...
Read moreI'm from NY, I don't eat fast food. I haven't been to Taco Bell in more years than I can remeber. !!!!SERIOUSLY!!!! T H I S P L A C E I S D I F F E R E N T ! ! !
I got the same order I used to get in high-school 25 years ago. It's a cheesy potato, and 2 cheesy gordida crunches. The potatoes were HOT, the cheese was melted, the sour cream was generous, and it was all centered perfectly in the cup unscathed. Anywhere I've been, they're always clod, skimpy, smashed, rattled, or leaking. T H E C H E E S Y G O R D I D A CRUNCH! Bruh!!! I am not a doctor, but whoever put them things together!!! I'm diagnosing them with some serious OCD. THE TACOS LOOKED LIKE THE PICTURE!!!! I'm not kidding, look at my photos. If you took the taco, made it, wrapped it up tight, then put it in the bag, that's what it would look like. The gentleman taking my order was extremely professional and showed he cared about quality. He handed me my food and said he put extra sauce and napkins in the bag.
I'm actually considering eating fast food again... but...
