I recently dined at Atwood’s expecting a high-quality meal commensurates with their reputation and exorbitant prices. Unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory.
We were approached by the chef, who recommended a steak that he claimed was exceptional. After some discussion, we ordered our steaks cooked medium rare, confident in the chef's expertise. However, when the steaks arrived, it was evident that they were overcooked, far from the medium rare we specifically requested. It felt like a lack of responsibility on the chef's part, as he sent them out knowing they didn’t meet our order.
When we declined the overcooked steaks, the server suggested they could remake them and even said we could take the unsatisfactory steaks home for our dogs. This was incredibly offensive and unacceptable, especially considering that our bill exceeded $1,000.
In summary, I would not recommend [Restaurant Name]. The food, service, and attention to culinary standards do not match what one would expect at these prices. Save your money and seek out a restaurant that values its customers and delivers on...
Read moreWe have always enjoyed going to Finn's, and looked forward to dining at Attwood's. This past Saturday we celebrated my husband's birthday at Attwood's. Service was impeccable. Drinks were well made and our Bordeaux wine was impressive given the relatively low cost. The Wagyu meatballs were fantastic. My sizzler steak was a perfect rare. However, my add-on lobster tail for $27 was a huge disappointment. It was so tiny (almost looked like a small shrimp), extremely dry and had an overpowering taste of some sort of seasoning. I had to ask for melted butter. I often order lobster as an add-on and was expecting the usual 4 ounce size. I mentioned my dissatisfaction to our server - said she would relay my comments to the chef. We were sad you ran out of carrot cake. We are planning to return, but felt you should know about our recent experience. If not for the lobster tail, we would have given...
Read moreWow! I am totally blown away at the difference between the former restaurant and Attwood’s! I am so happy they kept all of the same staff and so happy to see them all thriving with proper resources and business owners. I will be sad to no longer see Trevor Rose’s face but excited to see what the future holds. I was in last night (2/15/2025) and could taste the love in my food. Everything tasted so good and I had the best steak of my life as well as an amazing peanut butter pie! Thank you!!!
Update (9/22/2025) I still love the food here! I was in the other night and found it very odd that the young girl who brought me my food was wearing leggings and a crop top. I just expect more professionalism from staff and I am hoping it was just a...
