Title: A Hidden Gem: Mia's Village Eats in Spring Lake, MI

As a seasoned traveler with a penchant for culinary exploration, I've had the privilege of dining in diverse locales around the Western hemisphere. Yet, sometimes the most best culinary experiences can be found right in our own backyard. Mia's Village Eats in Spring Lake, MI, is a testament to this notion, surprising even a seasoned epicurean like myself with its exceptional food and warm hospitality.

Nestled in the heart of Spring Lake, just a stone's throw from home, Mia's immediately caught my attention with its unassuming charm making my first visit all the more exciting.

From the moment I entered Mia's, I was enveloped in a sense of warmth and familiarity, akin to dining at a beloved family member's home.

Now, let's talk about the food – the true star of the show at Mia's Village Eats. While Mia's offerings may not rival those of a fine dining establishment, they certainly excel in delivering delicious, comforting fare that the whole family can enjoy. The menu boasts a good variety of dishes, each prepared with care and served with a generous helping of home-cooked goodness.

Each dish is thoughtfully prepared to evoke feelings of warmth and satisfaction, making every bite a nostalgic journey back to simpler times.

What truly set Mia's apart, however, was its unparalleled commitment to customer satisfaction. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that every guest felt welcomed and attended to.

Whether you're a local seeking a new favorite spot or a traveler passing through Spring Lake, MI, Mia's is not to be missed. Prepare to be surprised and delighted by the wholesome, comforting fare that awaits you at Mia's...

So first of all I want to say I'm glad Mia's is open again but after my 2nd time, I'm very disappointed, not because anything tastes bad, as I feel the ingredients overall have improved quality wise and pizza sauce is reminiscent of old, the super sub has been fine, no issue with that, but my issues are in regards to the pizza, not in taste but quantity / amount of food you get. Mama Mia's was always my favorite local thin crust pizza since childhood even more so than the Iconic Fricanos but the new Mia's is way to thin like needs to be multiplied x3 to thin, because all 3 of the 16" pizzas I've ordered were no where near 16" circumferences, but more like 14" Elongated Ovals like a Ford symbols cut out of a Tortilla! This would be ok and acceptable IMO if it was $15 but @ $23+ for a 2 topping pizza that's paper thin with very little sauce....Not acceptable...It was $75 for 2 pizzas & 1 sub that might fill up 2 people...not joking...If there's any advice to be successful going forward and staying in business, either lower your prices for what your currently offering, or make your crust like 3x thicker, use more sauce and make it 18" or 19" before going in the Oven because it's clearly shrinking. I really hope you are listening to these reviews because I know I'm not alone in these experiences, because you're charging a lot of money for weightless nothing, like I think the cardboard box weighs more than the pizza kind of...

I just want to start by saying I personally have never left a bad review for a business before. Unfortunately this had to be a bad one…. My girlfriends and I came to town for a getaway, The three of us have never visited this town before. The towns hospitality has been wonderful thus far. We heard great things about this wonderful pizza place, so we decided we wanted to try it. We walked up to the establishment, noticed a sign blocking the door, so we tried to catch the employees attention to see if we could get a menu, etc..He shouted out rudely “you need to order online.” No problem right?! So we started to walk to our vehicle to go online and look at the menu to order. But as I went to my car and open the door, we seen him walk over to the front door and slam it. At first I thought it was just my imagination, but all three of us felt the anger of this slamming door. We kept going over our thoughts, like "did we do something wrong?" Anyhow, moral of the story. we sadly didn't get to try this place do to an employees poor attitude. Otherwise this review could of...

I’ve never been so excited for a restaurant to reopen! I stopped in for an early dinner and couldn’t pick on thing for myself so I chose the three that caught my attention first. I chose the Porky Mac Balls ( you can get 3 or 6 so I chose 3 ) , the Chicken Tacos and the Smoked Mac N Cheese. The flavors are out of the world good! Everything was fresh , hot, and honestly just pretty to look at! Decor is very nicely done, restaurant was spotless , and the staff were friendly and informative. If I could give more stars I absolutely would ! Way to go Mia’s Village Eats , WAY TO GO!!! I clicked $30-$50 , because I spent almost $40 for myself on these delicious items because I could not choose just one, so I want to say it’s very reasonably priced I just splurged on myself !!

This is the third and last time we try this “local’s favorite.” Our food, while delivered still hot, was once again (literally for the third time) just a mess of burnt crust and greasy bread. The pizza is delicious, if you’re interested in making a game of eating around the char and throwing away half the food you paid way too much for. The sub came triple wrapped in wax paper inside a paper sack that was outwardly dripping grease, the bread soaked and mushy, the brisket burnt and the mushrooms rubbery to the point of being inedible. The Mac and cheese was decent, albeit a little gritty and definitely not good enough to make up for the rest of the $70 letdown we just experienced.

Formerly Mamma Mia's, Mia's Village Eats is definitely a lot cleaner and cuter as far as the decor then it's predecessor. We got the hand tossed, meat lovers pizza at around 1 pm on a rainy day 5-7-24. The cashier was a very nice young blonde. She was pleasant and polite. The young man in the back was cleaning the vent/ceiling and then made our pizza was polite as well and checked on our order as well as 2 other couples that were dining at the same time. The pizza was thin, had a different tasting sauce, and had plenty of meat ingredients. We were passing through. So I don't know if we will be back. Overall 4.5 Good Luck 👍
