Placed an order via Grubhub at 8pm. Order was cancelled by the restaurant at 8:23pm. I called them, no answer. Reached out via their chat feature to the restaurant directly and no response. Placed an order on the Slice Pizza App (which Frank’s website actually directs you to!) after 20 minutes it never changed from placed to in progress. Started calling the restaurant at 8:57 to see if there was an issue. No answer until 5 calls later. At 9:01pm they finally answer and say “We don’t allow any new delivery orders after 9pm”. I told them I made the order at 8:35pm and had even been calling since 8:57pm but no one would answer. She basically said too bad everyone left even though their website says open until 10pm and both Grubhub and Slice show them accepting orders until 9:30pm. This was also on a Friday Night how do they close at or before 9pm on a Friday Night. Tried for hours to order and get food from them and got shafted. I’m sure their pizza is okay, but the service is horrible.
Owner posted a response stating cancelled due to 20+ minute delivery -
First I’ve checked the maps and it shows a 12 minute time from Frank’s to Park MGM. On top of that I noted I’d meet them at the entrance so they aren’t having to come find me.
Next - If you can’t deliver outside a certain radius then lower your delivery radius or allow companies like DoorDash, Grubhub etc. to use their drivers. For some reason Frank’s does not want to allow DoorDash or Grubhub Drivers to pick up and deliver their orders.
So the issue isn’t on my end, it’s definitely on...
Read moreI can't spell out or type how good this pizza is. If you imagine the garlic dipping sauce at Papa John's this pizza was the best meat lovers which seemed to have that nice garlic flavor built into the pizza. At the same time it wasn't terribly greasy.
Walking in to Frank's I was welcomed by the lovely smell of garlic. Small place with outside seating but despite the small size a very nice selection of pizza and pastas. It was hard to choose as the aroma filled the place making me want to try everything.
Smallest pizza on the.menu is 12 inch, about medium for most places. I went with the meat lovers, because I am 'murican after all, and I wasn't disappointed. $15 with tax. Waiting made me hungry as the smell didn't let up.
Pizza complete I didn't want to make the drive home as it smelled amazing. My car filled with the same aroma from Frank's.
Getting home the pizza is a thin crust, perfect presentation. Cheese and meat cooked perfectly with crust nice and crispy yet the middle soft and warm. Perfect.
The taste. Wow. Garlic, olive oil, sauce, Italian herbs, cheese, sausage. Everything well balanced. All amazing together. It sounds canned to say best pizza I have ever had so I'll just say best I have had in a long time.
The only disappointment? Why aren't more people here? Only two tables of people. The quality of this pizza should have a waiting list for ordering. Local places making quality food is what everyone seems to want and yet only two tables and me. Friday at 7, only three. Visit this place, you won't be...
Read moreI have a new favorite pizza. I've been reading reviews and been wanting to find out for myself. Nicely decorated inside. Kinda old school decor but very clean looking. I ordered 2 cheese slices and got a drink too - it was 7.50 out the door, great price. Got 2 slices right out from the oven, using the Portnoy scale, i definitely rate this 8.4 or better. Very nice char on bottom, crispy crust. They must be using higher quality mozzarella, no grease. Just enough sauce, with nice flavors. Great chew to the slices. The owner checked with me to make sure everything was good, it was great. I definitely will be back, will explore more...
