I've always ordered food from the old location of Grindz 2 Da Max and now I drive all the way here to eat the fried noodles and garlic chicken. Service is always great. They get busy so call ahead. I would highly recommend dining here if you're looking for good local grinds. ‐------- Grindz 2 Da Max is my go to for my Island cravings. Hands down Best in Vegas. Yup I said it. I'll point out the highlights. First, this location is located on Charleston in a food court. TIP: Order your food ahead of time or you'll be waiting for a bit. Service is always awesome and I feel like I'm back home with the Aloha spirit. Food: Garlic Chicken Garlic Shrimp Roast Pork Fried Noodles Chinese Pretzels Washed down with a Strawberry Diamond Head Soda. (Nostalgic moment of field trips) I need to try the meat jun plate.. I'm from Wahiawa so I'll be honest to say that Dong Yang sets the bar high..Lol. I will hopefully try that soon. All the food I've had never disappoints. The roast pork and gravy is soft and flavorful. My least favorite was the garlic chicken. I wish it was more crispy. Now for the Fried Noodles. WOW!!! I order it all the time. It reminds me of Leeward Drive Inn in Waipahu. It's topped with Fish Cake which I love. Perfect balance in flavor. If you're in the area, give them a shot. And if you know Hawaii style food, this is the place to go. #IslandGirlNette #808Represent

Overall, our experience here was pretty good. My wife really likes the spicy masago poke, can definitely taste the freshness. The portion of the poke bowl was on the smaller than expected side, but probably because of the fresh fish. The picked mango jars are also really good. The garlic ahi was good despite asking for some red in the middle and it was cooked through. I’d try another ahi dish next time. The garlic mix would definitely be good with shrimp. The fried noodles were okay, however they were missing some type of meat like char siu or spam to make it complete. Meat jun and kalbi plate was good, however for the price i’d get it from somewhere that includes choosing your 4 sides to go with the plate. The crab mac salad stands out, having crab in the mac added a nice twist to a popular side. One of the few places that serve diamond head soda which was a surprise. They also have orange bang, lilikoi and green river. The service here was top notch, cashier was super friendly and took time to explain menu items despite being busy. Smaller store on the inside with minimal seating to dine in. When it gets busy, expect to take it home or eat in the car.

I saw Grinds 2 Da Max on Instagram and while I was in Las Vegas, I just happen to have a friend come here a couple days before I did. The picture of the food looked great, so we decided to check it out as I love good Hawaiian food. Well, Grinds 2 Da Max did not disappoint! The food is Da Bomb! They are located in the Wantai Plaza, unfortunately in a tiny space so there was not much tables to sit at if you wanted to eat in. Most people were doing take out. We were fortunate to get a table, so we did dine in. The whole time we were here, all the table were full and plenty of people waiting for their order or in line waiting to order. Everything we ordered was delicious and packed full of flavor! The only thing that could have had a little more flavor was the Hawaiian style Poke, but it could have been because everything else was packed full of flavor. When you are in Las Vegas, You need to come to Grinds 2 Da Max for some awesome Hawaiian food!

I visited with the 808 family and G2DM was fantastic...future visits coming soon...

G2DM is in a mini-food court which is housed in an older building. You order your food at the counter and sit in the tables setup in the middle of the food court. The cashier was friendly and the kitchen got my order out pretty quickly.

Dynamite Chicken Katsu: This is one of their signature dishes and I definitely see why. This is Chicken Katsu is cooked perfectly and was juicy side. The "Dynamite" sauce was savory af. It was a touch of spicy and sweet in a unique way I've never come across before. Good stuff

Garlic Chicken: Alright straight up, this is the best garlic chicken I've had in a long time if not ever. There's a strong garlic flavor which i love but not overwhelming. Again, the chicken is juicy and cooked perfectly. The rice and potato crab salad with the 'regular' sized combo were the perfect sides. This was a very generous serving and i had leftovers for later. It was just as delicious later after I warmed it up. The garlic chicken is something special at G2DM.

I'm looking forward to trying more dishes here. I'm going to have to get a garlic chicken order in there somehow because it was fantastic. If you love food from the 808, Grinds 2 da max is a must...
