We went in on a Wednesday morning @ 10:30 & were sat @ a very wobbly booth. Then a very nice bus boy (Joey) approached to take drink orders, and they were brought quickly. Then we sat, & sat & sat while our server kept running around like he didn't know where to go. Meanwhile another table came in & our server went right over to them & took their order while we still sat there & were ready to order for over 20 minutes. Then Joey the bus boy kept coming over to us saying he told the server to come get our order, but he NEVER CAME TO TAKE OUR ORDER!! Then the manager approached & asked if he could take our order. After taking our order another server( a young girl) was carrying condiments back to table & a lid on the chalula came off & fell on the ground. She proceeds to pick it up & put it right back on the bottle WITHOUT CLEANING IT! It is still COVID & this is still happening in these restaurants! You still need to take pride in the cleanliness of your restaurant for the safety of your patrons. There is absolutely no excuse for this. By then Joey has refilled us twice & apologized for server not coming over. Then manager brought our food & asked if there was anything else we needed. He was very accommodating. You need to demote the server that left us sitting for 20 minutes to busboy & promote Joey to server!!!! He has WONDERFUL people skills. Thank you Joey. And thank you to manager that had taken our order. The garden melt was AMAZING! My son also loved his lemon , blueberry Blue...
Read moreThis was the WORST customer service experience I’ve EVER had. From the moment I sat down, I politely let the waitress know I was ready to order. She snapped, “I’m not ignoring you,” and then proceeded to ignore me anyway. She spent most of her time sitting down, chatting with another customer right next to my table—not working, not checking in, not even noticing when I was clearly trying to get her attention.
She’d eventually come over like nothing happened, then go right back to socializing. It felt deliberate, rude, and completely unprofessional. And let’s not even talk about the entrance—there’s a sign that says “Please wait to be seated,” but the moment you walk in, she tells you to “sit anywhere there’s a menu.” So… no greeting, no direction, no welcome. Just sit down and figure it out yourself, I guess.
I will NEVER step foot in this restaurant again. Ever. I don’t care how the food tastes—if there’s no basic respect, I’m not staying.
Let this be a PSA: From the second you walk in, prepare to be met with the opposite of hospitality. Inhospitality. Disrespect. A total lack of care. Go at your own risk. Especially if you’re not one of her regulars—because everyone else might as well...
Read moreFirst off, the place had better ambience when it was an Einstein Bros. The overall feeling was crowded seating and no effort of decor. We ordered eggs benedict and a breakfast burrito add bacon... adding the bacon cost $3!!! Which was a surprise when we got our bill especially since there was hardly any to be found....what a rip-off! The burrito itself had no flavor. We attempted to add "salsa"(tomatoes in water)... which also had no flavor. Meanwhile, the bacon on the eggs benedict was super salty and over cooked and the spinach was super soggy. The coffee wasn't even good. The only thing we liked was the ranch that we ordered to dunk our potatoes in! 😳 I guess that's what you get when you go to a place called griddlecakes and you don't actually order griddlecakes... 🤪 Hopefully those are better, but I doubt I'd go back to find out. The service was good though. That's...
