SAGOS @ SPRING MOUNTAIN — Restaurant in Spring Valley

I came here because I had reservations at the Kabuto across the parking lot that I didn't want to be late for. I arrived with 1.5 hours to blow hoping for a good rye old fashioned. This establishment has a down-home feel to it. It's warm, has sports on the walls, and games, but it's not dingey or smelly. It's very clean and well taken care of without a "clinical" feel. It's a place to be comfortable and have drinks. It's staffed by some of the warmest bartenders and had great regular clientele. If you are from out of town you will still feel welcome and at home.

The drink prices were very reasonable. Pretty much along the lines of other bars back home (where I have a lower cost of living). Well, at least the ones that know how to make a decent old-fashioned! Going here will not break the bank. They aren't running on the tourist pricing system.

If you are looking for a comfortable "Cheers style" bar away from the bustle to decompress and be yourself, if you want something "down home" but very clean and comfortable. This is your spot.

I love going to sagos,I love all the staff they all are so friendly and always make sure you are taken care of and they really care about everyone they serve. I was there last night on Sunday from 3pm until almost 5am..Renee was working then was Kristine and both of them are amazing.I also go on Friday’s when Deb and Steph are working they are also the same. This is the only bar I really hang at and go to because of the way they treat people with respect and always care how your taken care of and feel. I went on Sunday night and there was some girl in there and giving everyone dirty looks and I just ignored it until she left but I feel was so rude to be that way if ur visiting a bar u should treat your bar tenders with respect how u wanted to be treated because all the staff that works at this bar are Amazing and I will always continue...

There is a star here just because the bartender was a nice lady. Otherwise, I would have given none because the atmosphere wasn't great. From the moment you walk in, you are suffocating from the smoke of the cigarettes. Talk about 2nd AND 3rd-hand smoking. I kept coughing and just had a shot, then left.
