Star Lounge Restaurant & Bar — Restaurant in Spring Valley

I only gave this place 1 star because it’s not possible to give them 0. I went last night with some friends and it was the worst experience. We booked a table with a promoter and were told there was just a $100 minimum for the table and we would be good for the night. Well after spending over $200 the server tells us we need to spend at least $100 more otherwise we would have to give up our table. Obviously this caused conflict because we reserved the table for the night. She said that the promoter wasn’t there so they couldn’t confirm it was true but we had messages from the promoter confirming what we had previously told her. She also said there was a line outside with people waiting to get in. Not only was there no line (we checked) but people were also leaving in packs. Eventually we had to get the manager and other employees involved. One of the male employees whose name I didn’t catch became highly aggressive with my friend. We ended up staying at the table after speaking with the manager but there was obvious tension after this 45 minute long incident.

Attempting to not honor an agreement that patrons have with YOUR promoter is bad business. I was already reluctant to go there seeing how they have bad reviews on tik tok and some of them are from celebrities and influencers so I didn’t expect much for regular ol me. Star lounge is one of the most understanding place. Yes sometimes food will take longer than other days depending on how busy they are, but there is only one chef and i appreciate their communication and they’re servers who accommodate to us customers if anything is wrong.
