The Juice Standard — Restaurant in Spring Valley

I don't typically go out searching for a bunch of different juice shops, and nor did I accomplish a search during this visit. The main reason why I stopped here is due to a complimentary voucher I received from our amazing Realtor. My wife and I visited this business on 17 Mar 2024 approximately 3:50 pm, and I'm glad that we did too. When we walked in, we were nicely greeted by a couple of employees which was appreciated. I've witnessed horrible employees before because they were irritated with customers who walked into their business about 5-10 minutes before closing time.

Aside from the friendly employees that were on shift when we walked in, I also noticed the nice décor in this place. The employees weren't pushy at all or impatient considering this was our first time visiting and I needed some time to look at the menu. We ordered the Bee WHealthy Organic Cold-Pressed Juice and the Protein Power Smoothie, which ironically, were green in color, in celebration of St. Patrick's Day. Both drinks tasted magnificent and I didn't feel like I was consuming 8 pounds of sugar. What's funny is if you were to ask me over 20 years ago, I would've thought these drinks were the grossest thing on this planet; however, I've learned to appreciate drinks made fresh like this business prepares them.

What's unfortunate about this business...well, unfortunate for us is that we live in the far Northwest part of this city which isn't exactly a hop, skip, or jump away from this juice shop. However, we both want to revisit this business to try other items on their menu to include their food items. Whenever this occurs, I'll be sure to update my rating/review appropriately based on the food quality, service, etc...but I don't anticipate anything changing drastically based on my recent visit. Overall, my experience was wonderful; the price was reasonable, and drink quality was magnificent. I highly recommend this place...

I am highly disappointed in the Juice Standard due to my visit today. As I am a frequent customer and if anyone doesn't know, a juice or acai here is not cheap by any means. That's besides the point, the staff working today were extremely rude. I was the first customer in and ordered an acai and some water. Their first response was they would charge me $1.50 for water, fine. I receive my food, pay and start to eat my acai in the restaurant. Shortly after a man comes in, who orders an acai. The girl gives him his acai with another cup filled saying they never do this but here you go. After I had just ordered another one to go! I am upset at this point so sarcastically comment on how he made out, got one for free and here I am paying for two. It was just rude and I am shocked...

Lexy made my experience absolutely amazing!! When I walked in I had told her it was my first time, and without missing a beat she started grabbing bottles for me to sample. She walked me through the ingredients of each juice and what health benefits they had. She answered all of my question with confidence which made me feel at ease. After trying almost every juice they had available I can say not one of them let me down!
