Vesta Coffee Roasters - Food Hall — Restaurant in Spring Valley

Vesta Coffee- located inside the Durango Casino, it is part of the food hall and there is another location in the hotel lobby. It's not a place to do work on your laptop that's for sure! It is more of a place where you can get a quick bite to eat and get a cup of coffee ☕️ . It's a lively area with a lot of people and very vibrant atmosphere. We have ordered two lattes : Hazelnut-maple latte and Camp S’mores latte. The drinks were delicious, not too bitter, not too sweet either. Perfect blend of flavors and great quality of beans. We also had their Turkey Pesto Sandwich and two chocolate croissants 🥐. We were pleasantly surprised how delicious they were, especially sandwich was very tasty. The bread was great, baked fresh daily and you can taste the high quality of the fresh food. The staff were very friendly, efficient and very quick, we didn’t wait for our food to arrive too long. They even warmed up our delicious chocolate croissants 🥐, which was very nice.

Went to Durango and wanted to get a pastry and coffee at the location in the food hall today at about 9:30am. While I'm sitting there and enjoying my treats, I hear chef Tan yelling and berating another employee. So unprofessional and not an enjoyable atmosphere to sit in. Very disappointed! He is a terrible person to be around or work in his vicinity. Not only does he treat people he works around badly he also belittles employees at the other Vesta locations behind their backs. As long as he works for Vesta they will lose my families business! Part of the problem is Vesta itself! Not only have they allowed this Chef to do these things they also have managers like Ileen (short young lady with dark hair) who doesn't necessarily treat her employees they way they should be treated part of which is because of the immense pressure the company...

I was heading there 15 minutes to closing. I called them in advance to see if I could place my order and pay ahead.

Matthew answered, and advised me very graciously that I didn’t need to pay in advance, and that he would take my order but requested that I please show up. I insisted that was no problem at all, as I was nearly almost there and how thankful I was that he took my order over the phone.

Upon arriving my order (amazing coffee) was ready and although they were closing, they weren’t attempting to rush me. They were above and beyond in customer service excellence, which only serves to compliment their top notch food & drinks.
