Crawfish eaters only: For one I’m a big crawfish fan. Love them. With that being said I’m aware what they are and what to expect. Let me first start off by saying a Friend of mine & I came here to try their infamous crawfish Saturday, Feb. 22. Their post on social media is what lead us to come try this place. We ordered the 5lb crawfish with corn & potatoes. Prior to receiving any food, we paid for the whole bill upfront $120 (first red flag), then we finally get our crawfish. We had some that were cold temp, some room temp, with a few that were actually hot temp (second red flag), Also, as we are eating them there are quite a few of them we had to discard bc the tails on em were either already straight or really flimsy like. Pretty much indicating that these crawfish were already dead prior to being boiled. That is a lack of properly cleaning/purging & the preparation of the crawfish, nor were they picked through to ensure us customers are receiving top quality crawfish. (third red flag) What really just did it for us was a big juicy grasshopper/roach/maggot looking bug we found in our food. Again, I’m aware that we are eating mud bugs and I understand the environment where they come from. This is still unacceptable.

When brought to our servers attention..I apologize I cannot remember his name.. He openly promised us compensation due to this fact of the matter. After waiting around an additional 45 minutes of us letting him know there was no one who could help us. The lack of management here is outrageous. We were told by several employees “I am the manager how can I help you” once we stated our issue then all of a sudden they were no longer the manager and needed to go find someone else. OK After being given the run around for quite some time. It was said to us by an employee “The Owner said there will be no refund given due to bugs being in everyone’s food” then went on to say “if you’d like to speak with the owner come back up here on Tuesday because she is busy right now.”

I’m sorry, but if bugs are in everyone’s food that is a big health concern. So, Health Department has been called and made aware of this establishment. I would hope no one else finds a bug in their food, but If you do I guess that’s “normal” per the Owner.

That is just not okay with me. This review is strictly for Crawfish & the service that we received. ...

Me and three of my friends went on a saturday night, which we had been here before but only during the week and never had any issues besides hookah taking too long to be brought out. So we decide to see what the saturday night vibes was like, we walk in immediately see a bunch of kids, which is no issue but the type of music and hookah around babies/little kids is not the best environment. We were immediately seated in the couch area not told we would need to move by 8pm because there was a reservation coming in, note we got there around 6:41/50. We sit order our drinks and hookah before we ordered food. Drinks took about 30+ mins to come out and hookah was never put in initially so it had to be re-submitted and finally came out. Waitress was very cold she only came to the table to bring us something and immediately walk off or if we flagged her down never to just check in. We eventually get our food and then we order more shots and drinks note its around 8:04 at this point, then were approached by the owners daughter (not our waitress) telling us we have to move they have area reserved for 8pm, we immediately questioned it just because we were never told prior to being seated and we still had drinks and shots we haven't received yet which we explained to her only to be told "well this is how we make our money through our reservations and tables are 1hr and 30 min max but let me see what i can do" Her doing something was going to the bar and putting a rush on our shots and cancelling our drinks so we could get what we ordered and leave. So our waitress now brings our shots and advise us we can move to the bar (no seats) so we take our shots and advise were ready to pay. So we gather our stuff and move by the register near the bar area and waitress walks up to us ask us "where y'all moving to because yall still have to pay" We all look at her like didnt yall just tell us to move nobody trying to run out on a check but told her just pull up our bill so we can leave. Honestly that was my 6th/7th time going there but my first time on a weekend and i will never be back whole experience put a bad taste in my mouth especially me and my co-worker bringing our friends there for...

Let's start with the flavor and customer service is 12/10. 2 extra points for acknowledging issues and doing something to help ease it. So let's get into this review.

Food: we ordered Chicken and waffles, 5 garlic parm wings and a kids 3 wings and fries. The waffle is fantastic! CLOSE to Roscoe's (iykyk). The chicken was so flavorful but...I felt like I was eating baby chicks vs. Chicken. When I asked the size of the chicken prior to ordering I was told they weren't whole wings but pieces. Cool. But as you can see from the pictures they were TINY! The prices are reasonable but I NEED them to give be more than a sample. It taste to darn good to be bite size.

Customer service: the cashier was cool and held down the front of the house while two other guys took a break. He was very social, explained the menu and offered suggestions. I'd suggest other restaurants take tips from this young man (my receipt says James but I didn't ask if that was his name)

Drinks: the sampler slushie (all flavors mixed) will bare minimum be the reason I'd go back. There's also a fairly full bar.

Time management: it wasn't busy tonight but the wait time was longer than necessary. They were having computer issues so I don't think the kitchen was getting the orders in order. But again the front man/ cashier apologized, checked in with us and made us feel at ease knowing things were being resolved. And they were.
