From the start, I noticed the absence of visible prices at this establishment. As someone of Mexican-American heritage who frequently dines at various taco trucks in Houston, I can attest that nearly all of them prominently display their prices on the windows. It's an uncommon practice to withhold this information, and I strongly suspect that it may be a deliberate attempt to deceive customers by overcharging.
Despite my reservations, I ordered four tacos and a side of Charro beans, resulting in a total bill exceeding $18. This pricing struck me as unusually high, especially given my extensive experience with taco truck fare in the city. While the tacos were undeniably tasty, I cannot claim they were the best I've ever had, nor were they worth the almost $4 per taco price tag. In my opinion, these tacos should be valued at no more than two dollars each.
Reflecting on the cost, I couldn't help but think that for nearly $19, I could have enjoyed a meal at a place like Olive Garden, indulging in a dish like chicken Alfredo pasta with unlimited breadsticks.
I found the overall value to be unsatisfactory. In my experience, I have frequented Mexican restaurants where complimentary chips and salsa, along with a beverage, could be enjoyed alongside a complete meal for one person at a price lower than what I paid for four tacos and a side of Charro beans at this establishment.
In conclusion, while the food was decent, it did not justify the cost. I believe this establishment needs to reassess its pricing strategy to provide better value...

Didn't disappoint. I had a Beef Fajita Burrito. It was large. It was cut in two, for convenience. It had everything I ordered in it; nothing I didn't. Most importantly, it was very tasty.
Now, I'm not from Texas, but I enjoy a bit of heat with my food. The green salsa has a bit of a kick. By "a bit" I mean "a lot." I put a bunch on my burrito, expecting it to be somewhat lackluster as I've experienced at other food trucks. Instead, I found myself struggling for air and, indeed, my very life as the burning salsa neared my air-tube. My difficulty breathing only intensified with every attempted breath. I was coughing profusely and sweating at the same time. I've never felt more alive. As I stood there, with my sinner's soul hanging in the balance, I thought "This is the one I've been looking for!"
After a tenuous 15-20 seconds, I successfully beat back the spicy onslaught. Catching my breath, I wondered if this possibly could have been payback from these people for my stance on illegal immigration. I disregarded the thought because it didn't matter. They failed the attempt. They botched the job. "Not today, amigos." I muttered under my breath. I gathered my leftovers and drove away into the night.
Oh and the pineapple drink is literally out of this world.
10/10 will visit again. These people...
Read moreWell to start off the taco truck is very expensive, I would rather go to a restaurant for the price I payed last night. So I went one time Prior and order some things and they guy over price me and then told me the price was correct after I did my Calculations. Well I decided to go again and give it a try so me and 2 others went we payed 60 dollars and we each got 2 things A drink and a burrito and one of my friends got two tacos not worth $60 at all. Not only did we pay that but they messed up are order twice plus the all 6 people in front of us either they forgot something or didn’t make anything right, So we waited for almost an hour for our food plus an extra 30 minutes because they messed up twice. I asked him what was on the burrito they told me what was on there Meat of your choice lettuce, tomato, sour cream, and avocados and I told them OK will no avocado but they put it any ways plus cilantro which was not one of the things he listed that was supposed to be on the burrito. When we got home after they got our order correct my friend was drinking his drink and decided to open the cup his drink had a lot of grease inside the cup either it was a dirty cup or they just keep their cups by the cooking area Idk but mine and my other friends was fine and there food was very Salty and they don’t put a lot of meat on the burrito so we got mostly toppings and tortilla. I tried to give them a second chance but no I will...
