Six Ping is the BEST! I stopped in here on a whim this past weekend and have already been back for more! My brother tried the taro bread and red bean bread (both of which he loved,) and I tried a slice of the green tea cake. It was so wonderful! I hate saccharine sweet desserts, and can normally not stand cake, so I took a chance on it and it was SO worth it! The sweetness is subtle and so so so palatable—if you’re not someone who cares for overly sweet dessert, Six Ping is for you. I have since tried the coffee cake slice (and another green tea cake slice,) and it was super good as well! All of their cakes seem to hit a home run for me. I’ve yet to try any of their breads and rolls yet, but the savory breads and milk bread loaves are on my list to try again next week! Otherwise, the inside of the bakery was exceptionally clean and the young man working as the counter clerk was very polite. The boxes they package cake slices in are adorable and resealable too! Six Ping seems to have multiple Houston locations, but I am so so pleased this one is so close to me. If you are in the Spring/North Houston/Champions area, you have GOT to stop by!

I absolutely cannot praise six ping enough. I've been here multiple times and have always had the best experience. Everything they make is just perfectly done and very very cheap. Large dessert breads for around $2, and like $1.75 for kolache type breakfast foods for more than you'd get going to like a Shipley's or something. The fancy treats are a bit more but even then they aren't bad. The mousse with mushroom candy pictured below was $4. Love love love this place

LOVE THIS PLACE! I had gone to the boba shop next door, and I was curious about the bakery so I just sort of wandered in. So happy I did! Awesome selection of sweet and savory baked goods. I had never tried any of them and had no idea what to expect, so I bought a selection. Delicious AND cheap! I've been back multiple times to try new treats, and I'm always pleased. Pleasant staff as well. Give this place a try!

Found this place while searching for Asian bakery. The place is very neat and clean but lacks human interaction. When I visited, there wasn't anyone else in the store and it wasn't until I had picked my items and walked to the counter that a lady walked out. There was no itemized ring up of the items. She added it all up on her computer and told me the amount in a thick oriental accent. Meanwhile a few other oriental ladies walked in and they began talking to the store clerk/owner in their own language.

As for the pastries, I hot a long cream pastry which I found wasn't overly sweet; a green onion & pork bread which is very tasty and a bread with vanilla and coconut filling which is also great.

Definitely worth multiple trips and the prices are good too. A single serving of most pastry are under...

Seem like every Taiwanese bakery is poping up in every corner !! They seem to loose the quality and service for every store they open. Well not this Six Ping. The store is located in the shopping center that is clean and have plenty of parking spaces. The store itself is clean and spacious for a bakery.

Whether is pastries or Taiwanese toast you name it they have it. I pickup some pineapple cakes, and it was authentic as it can be consider we are in Houston. It was one of better tasting ones I had in a long time. Outside was fluffy and inside is fill with pineapple paste .

This place is definitely gonna serve north side of Houston well, and if you are in this side of town...
