Absolutely the worst experience I have ever had at a Taco Bell.
Went inside to order my carry out order. There was 2 people in the drive thru, decided to in. There was not anyone at the front counter so tried to place my order on the kiosk. It froze up. Stood at the counter waiting for someone to take my order. There was not anyone in line before me, I asked for someone to manually take my order since the kiosk froze. They just looked at me, I had ask another worker and the manager, Brittany, hollers from the prep station she's in the restroom.
After some time the drive thru operator comes to take my order after standing the 5 minutes. He stops mid order and had to ask the manager for help. She very loudly says "I told him she's in the restroom he's just going to have to wait".
After being there 10 minutes order finally is done and paid for. No sweet tea on customer side, had to ask for tea. Man I'm a big inconvenience today by their looks and attitude. 2 orders go out they should be working on my order (been there 20 minutes now). Just an FYI one of those orders was prepared in duplicate, the customer had already received their food.
I see the my son's quesadilla fall on the floor. The prepper discards and washes his hands. He's prepping, grabs the sauce and applies. I'm telling him No Sauce when he reached for it. Order states no sauce. He looks at me with a blank stare. By this time it's been 30 minutes since ordered, 40 minutes there, and I still don't have any food. I'm at a FAST FOOD enterprise with the expectations of being in and out in a reasonable amount of time.
I'm done, demand a refund going somewhere else. Brittany, so she says, no name tag, huffs over and says what's wrong. I told her it's been 30 minutes, the quesadilla not done, no telling if my other food is cold. I'm tired of waiting just refund me. She replies with a very disrespectful attitude "Well I told you we were busy, and people make mistakes." Got my refund and determined to let people know what kind of service to expect if you go there. I don't know, how 3 people in a drive thru is that busy. I been in and out of Chick Fila drive thru (and inside) in 15 minutes or less with over 20 cars in the drive thru line.
Went to another Taco Bell (Louetta and Stuebner), had great service and food in hand with 4 minutes of ordering. Wow what a difference a positive attitude can effect on customers and...
Read moreThis Taco Bell has only recently reopened after undergoing a major remodeling. The inside has a fresh new look and they're incorporated self ordering kiosks. They're not currently open for dine-in service but, they still have takeout service. Plus, you can order ahead through their app.
Of course, the name says it alone. Taco Bell is the king of fast food tex-mex. Just about everything on the menu is going to be bursting with flavor and sate your cravings. They're also one of the few fast food restaurants that offer substituting the meat in all of their foods with vegetarian options like black beans. While you might think this would take away from the flavor, they make sure it doesn't. If you do choose to go the no meat route, they add a zesty pico de gallo mix with the flavorful black beans. It's a combo that's sure to wake up your taste buds.
If you're looking to eat on the cheap, no other restaurants beats Taco Bell's value menu or their $5 boxes. You can get 4 of their 10oz cravings menu burritos for $4 and that would be a meal on it's own. Their $5 boxes their more experimental new options or seasonal releases. The quesarito is a perfect example of this. It started out as a $5 box and because it was so successful, they incorporated it into the permanent menu.
All in all, if you're craving inexpensive and flavorful tex-mex, this is the...
Read moreI like the vegetarian menu but sometimes the service sucks. Usually the males are super rude. Had one drop my credit card on the ground out the drive thru window and he just walked off. I didn't expect him to come out and pick it up but an offer or even just an apology would've been nice as I was riding with someone who is disabled and has more difficulty kneeling to the ground, unlike the young man who shut the window in our faces without so much as a peep. This was late in the evening too, so they weren't exactly swamped. Another of the young males didn't add mild sauce to my bag as asked, so I had to go in. Not realizing there was a selection of sauces on a bar I couldn't see, I asked this young man for mild sauce. He scooped two massive hands full at me (literally almost a sack full!) then wordlessly pointed to the bar as though I am stupid (the sauce bar is located alongside the back of a booth or wall and not easily seen from where I was standing at the registers). Just rude and disrespectful behavior from these children. The ladies have all been pleasant so far, however. The food is typical Taco Bell and I am pleased with the vegetarian menu options. Always yummy on that late night...
