I just want to say that i had a horrible experience for it being my first time trying their food! I’ve been wanting to try their food but i live super far! When i got to the counter and the food truck, i had to repeatedly scream. Excuse me I said, excuse me several times, and even guilt the last one before I got any attention from the cashier. He then looked up at me with a slight attitude. I noticed he had one headphone in, so he definitely could hear me saying excuse me. I had a hard time working the self ordering option due to the blurred computer screen so I could barely see the items on the menu. I then asked if he could come out and assist me. He told me it wasn’t that hard. I went ahead and ordered except it my food when I got the food it was cold nasty and try to charge me almost 3 dollars for sauce to dip my quesadilla in. I assume the food came with the sauce he told me that I needed to pay for it I was going to, but I had gotten so irritated. I got in my vehicle and left and that’s how I’m going to remember dripped...
Read moreThere was a lot of hype about both of these taco trucks that are right next to each other (the other one has hamburgers). I think that this is the better of the two.
The meat is soft l, tender and smokey, and I particularly enjoy the nachos and the quesadilla. I didn't care for the ramen at all because it tasted like the rind of a lime that was in it, and did not have any meat inside of it even though I think it was supposed to.
The tacos and the dipping cup that comes with it is good as well, but if I had to choose one I would go with the quesadilla. I also liked the loaded fries but that also is an option right next door so that's why I went with nachos the second time I came and I like those more.
The prices are on the higher side, especially considering that it's a food truck, but I guess that's the norm nowadays. I wish the prices were a little lower to make it more convenient to go to but I am happy that there is a fully halal taco truck...
Read moreI wish this truck was in Spring by Rayford. Before I talk about the food I want to mention the truck has a convenient simple ordering screen where you can pay. Then they just call out your name and give you your order.
The quesabirrias de res tacos were a good size, like medium in size and came as 3 including the consommé. I am very satisfied. I also ordered the ramen for the first time to marinate more and am gonna finish it tomorrow, but I couldn’t help but devour all 3 tacos! I added the lightly spicy and flavorful cilantro crema sauce as an extra side, and more cilantro to my ramen Birria soup. They put the pickled onions on the side which I enjoyed as well. $23 total, to me not bad considering some other places charge more for food and separately for consommé (Taco Fuego charges another $2.50 for dip sauce so never assume). And I am full...
