We stopped by here tonight to check this new-ish place out since we loveeeeeee great Indian food. This restaurant opened sometime around June of 2025 and judging by the reviews, we arenât the only one that walked away super duper happy with every aspect of our dinner there.
Immediately upon entering we were greeted by Rishi, and he definitely gets the gold star for hospitality, knowledge of the menu and 5 đ𤊠recommendations as to what to order! I first tried the Chicken Tikka Cheese Naan and Omgoodness it was out of this world amazing for only $6.50! I tried to refrain from eating too much but it is what it isâŚ
Next, Tony ordered the Chicken Tikka Kabob - and it came out with HUGE, tender, juicy, perfectly marinated and the exact amount of medium spicy heat that was absolutely delicious! Itâs served with the grilled chunks of onions and peppers on a bed of fresh lettuce that was to-die-for with the juices that flowed from the chicken. He was able to eat less than half of the incredibly generous portion! Unbelievably good!
I went with the amazingly good deal for $25 which included a chicken appetizer, chicken dish, rice that is out of this world good. Perfectly tender, firm rice (which I would definitely put on my short list of foods I could live on for the rest of my life) & garlic naan that almost me into a garlicky, carb-induced coma - heaven. Thanks to Rishiâs suggestion, I chose the Chicken 65 for my appetizer (see photos) these are bite size, super moist, marinated, spicy fried pieces of chicken perfection! Think the best version of spicy popcorn chicken youâve never ever encountered at any fast food joint - AMAZING. These are so good they are definitely entree-style satisfying all day long. Then I ordered the chicken tikka masala for my entree and it did not disappoint - one of my standalone go-to comfort foods for sure - the sauce was so creamy and the chicken so tender! The food was just outstanding, comforting to the soul & just so incredibly yummy. The garlic naan had the perfect amount of chopped fresh garlic, herbs and butter - so good.
Then to top it all off - they let me try a small cup of the Pineapple Kesari (itâs like Rishi was ready my greedy little mind when he brought it out đ) - I had no idea this magical wonder of the Indian dessert world even existed but NOW I DO - and my life will be soooooo much better for it! Itâs a sweet (think pineapple upside down flavor but without the toothache inducing sugar saturation level) pudding made from semolina, sugar, ghee (yippeeeee), pineapple chunks & a touch of saffron. You have simply gotta get some of this!!! Homemade goodness!
The TLDR: WE CANNOT WAIT TO COME BACK!!! We wanna try it all! Soooooo great. Service was impeccable, restaurant was incredibly clean & the food was so fast, so fresh & such amazing quality for a...

For years, I had the honor of working alongside one of the most talented chefs Iâve ever met: Chef Shakthi. His creativity, relentless work ethic, and deep-rooted love for South Indian cuisine always stood out. So itâs no surprise that today, heâs not only living his dream â heâs thriving in it.
Just a month ago, Chef Shakthi opened the doors to his very own restaurant: Madras Curry House, right here in Spring, Houston, Texas. And let me tell you â this place isnât just a restaurant. In just 30 days, Madras Curry House has already become the go-to spot for authentic South Indian food. From fragrant rice dishes and perfectly spiced curries to comforting sambars and homemade chutneys â every bite bursts with flavor. And yes, there's even a drive-throughâ¤ď¸.
I couldnât be prouder to see Chef Shakthi shining in his own light. His journey â from working beside me to running one of the most talked-about new restaurants in town â is nothing short of inspiring.

Read moreTried Madras Curry House for the first time recently, and itâs the kind of place you instantly know youâll be coming back to.
We ordered the Chicken Biryani and Butter Chicken, and both dishes were spot on. The biryani had vibrant colors, tender chicken, and perfectly balanced spices not overly heavy, but still packed with flavor. The butter chicken was rich and creamy without being greasy, and the naan on the side was fresh and warm.
Portions are generous for the price, and you can tell everything is made fresh. Even the presentation stood out not something you always see in a casual dine-in setting.
Service was friendly and attentive. Our server made sure we had everything we needed without hovering, and the food came out quicker than expected. The atmosphere is casual and clean, making it comfortable whether youâre grabbing a quick lunch or sitting down for a longer dinner.
If youâre into Indian food, or even if youâre trying it for the first time, this place is an easy recommendation. Fresh flavors, good portions, and a staff that clearly cares about the food theyâre serving. Definitely adding this spot to my...
