HUGE missed opportunity! With the name Mothership you would think they would have something alien themed, but there's absolutely nothing! I ordered a swiss hamburger which came with house made chips. Let's start there. The chips are awful. Some are crispy, some are soggy, and there is only a light salty taste to them. With proper cooking and original seasoning this could be a main stable to their menu...but no...it's drab and awful and I left most of them on my plate. The Swiss cheese on my hamburger was the bomb! It melted perfectly and was what made the burger good, it's too bad the rest of the burger was soaked with grease to the point that I had to eat half of it with a knife and fork - it just wouldn't stay stiff enough to hold in my hands. I also had a lemonade which was so watered down it tasted more like lightly flavored water than a real lemonade. I'm afraid to ask how bad their $5 shakes are. I'll pass. The decore is missing so much that the name represents. Even the TV is streaming Bob Ross videos instead of 3rd rock! All in all I wanted this to be a awesome place, but the owner needs to step up their game and get the theme going and fix the...
Read moreThis is my favorite place to eat during my lunch break. I am here at least twice a week. The staff are wonderful and friendly. The kitchen is quick, even during lunch rush, and I've only had an order slightly incorrect once, which was quickly and easily fixed.
The food is delicious, especially the salads. If you're not a salad person, the burgers and sandwiches are amazing as well.
They have vegetarian options for the patties on the burgers as well.
The local art and general atmosphere combined with the assorted pa speakers playing 70s-80s rock makes for a very enjoyable lunch spot.
On top of all this, Mothership is even environmentally conscious with very few single-use items involved which is something a lot of burger places seem to miss.
All in all, I recommend checking this place out if you're looking for a chill place to grab some food...
Read moreWhen ordering, I asked for a large side of fries, but Chris told me it would be a big meal, and was I sure? How many restaurants will go out of their way to save you a few bucks?
Veggies were bright, fresh, crisp and tasty. Green leaf lettuce on the burger, not cheap iceburg, and a thick slab of cheddar cheese, so the whole thing was just loaded with flavor.
They source their food locally, so when you eat here you are helping lots of local businesses, which should make this an immediate destination as far as I'm concerned. I hate those slick, soulless chains.
Whole staff was smling. Even the daughter was friendly and eager to pitch in and help. Bob Ross on my order placard, which went hand-in-hand with the art on the walls.
Can't wait to come back, and the next time it will be for the Velvet Elvis (yes, that's a...
