Papa johns as a whole has gone really downhill. This particular location has had 8, maybe 9 general managers in the last 3 years. They can't keep them longer than 6 or 7 months due to the mandatory 50 hour weeks that are actually 70+, and all for under 35k a year. Donna was a bright spot as front counter for some time, Thomas the heavy set white guy with glasses is a hard worker, brandy the old district boss and her assistant boss rick were good too....all are gone except Thomas. You can't run your people into the ground for low pay forever, and also keep raising your prices. At one time, pjs was the cheapest and best chain. They are now easily the worst and most expensive. This particular store is franchise owned and the owner while not a complete jerk all the time, isn't very smart. He named his longtime friend the president of the area, the same guy that once STOLE over 3 grand from his store. That particular man is a complete asshat...and a main reason they can't keep people. No one wants to work for him. The best they ever had was rick, and they fired him too for not having Fayetteville numbers. Never mind that the Fayetteville location is near the college, in a whiter, wealthier area of town, and Springdale is about 58% on food stamps or welfare with far more poor minorities that can't afford to order out everyday. Nope, bosses aren't smart enough to take that into consideration. Bad leadership is always the downfall...and not just this store, but all pjs nationwide are on a downward spiral. I'd be surprised if they were still around...
Read moreMy wife ordered pizza from here Friday night on April 16, 2021. She likes her pizza well done and they had an option for that. We ordered over $45 worth of food. The wait was no problem but the pizzas and bread stick were burnt! She called right back immediately and the guy said that she would have to speak with the manager about getting new pizzas..ok..so the manger get on the line and had my wife not had her on speaker phone, I wouldn’t have believed her about how incompetent and unprofessional the manager was! She tried to blame my wife for choosing well done as to why we received burnt pizzas and bread sticks! She couldn’t even make complete sentences as she was trailing off as she spoke..was very surprised she was management! She wouldn’t remake our bread sticks but remade the pizzas..not happy at all. Read moreOrdered by phone call, my pizza was the wrong toppings, so I called back and they transfer me to the store, I told them my issue, and they tried to tell me I ordered online - which was frustrating because I did not. I was given a credit for my pizza after they realized I really did not order online- It just seems like y’all could do a better job if you’re going to have a call center taking orders, maybe on your computer it should say that. Instead of saying I ordered it on the “web” meaning it would have been my own fault because I ordered it wrong. Only I didn’t, I called it in.
