Atmosphere was great. Food was lack luster, especially for the prices. Drinks were expensive and small. Think Vegas prices. Black beans were room temp at best and lacked flavor as well as the rice. I ordered 3 tacos. Beef, chicken and pork. Healthy meat portions but tortillas were tough and the meat could stand better flavor as well. Layer cake was a bit dry and the cheesecake very small portion for the price and was hard, as if it was frozen and not quite thawed. The sorbet was tasteless. Drinks were good but not enough alcohol for the price of a double. The staff was friendly and service was quick for as busy as they were. I might give it another try after they’ve been open longer. Maybe it’s new location kinks. There is definitely better food in town for the prices.

A new entry in downtown Springdale. So much going on in downtown, this is a great addition. The restaurant in located on the 2nd floor of the building, you enter toward the rear of the building and take the elevator up. The restaurant has a really cool and inviting feel to it. We had reservations for 6 on a Saturday. We were seated quickly and drink orders taken. They have a great Menu of cocktails and beers. I ordered the quesadilla which came with a green sauce, beans and rice. The beans and rice were standard and the quesadilla with al pastor was ok. The meat did have some gristle and could have been seasoned more. The flan was very good! Everyone else really enjoyed their food. Service was outstanding. We look forward to returning.

First time here, wanted a drink and tasty bite before heading home after work. Friday at 5:30, very chill. They don’t have entrees anymore, pivoting to tapas style. I had the sopes and pomelo perfecto drink. I initially was hoping for a quesadilla or something similar but the sopes were perfect for me and tasted great. The drink was also very good. I came alone to just decompress after work and honestly it was perfect. Some of the drinks are pretty pricey but they have a few for less than 10. I didn’t try any other food. I would definitely come again!

(Edit) I also messaged their Facebook page the same evening I posted this. They read it and failed to respond. I replied again,, and it was ignored.. save your money, and curb your appetite elsewhere.

I just want to preface this by saying, the server was nice. With that said, I work in the industry, and know plenty about rotating menus and seasonal menu changes etc. My mother came down for a visit from Missouri this afternoon. We drove down to Springdale to visit my son, and then decided to come by to grab a bite to eat before she went home. I have never been to Toca,, and the reviews nudged me to try it. We were promptly greeted when we walked in, and chose to sit outside to eat since the weather was beautiful. We were seated with the food and drink menu, and our waitress brought us out waters and asked if we needed a few minutes. We did, as we were undecided if we wanted our own plate, or a large plate of tacos to share. She came back and as I started to order, she then told us that

"I'm sorry, but our kitchen is closed as we are changing the menu tomorrow, all we have are appetizers"

This should have been stated as we walked in the door rather than 15 minutes after we were seated. We were there, so we ordered the queso and elote. Both were good, but the queso was under-whelming for the portion you get for $13. Needless to say, we left hungry, and were on a time constraint anyway, so we did not have time to go somewhere else to wait to be seated. It is disappointing, and I was a little embarrassed that this happened as I was...

Great people! It’s almost impossible to choose which was better them or the food! Drinks are especially good. We had all the appetizers and we shared as our meal. But can’t wait to go back and try the rest of the menu. Cool location on the second floor which gives them a balcony/patio/roof top experience so on a nice day the atmosphere mixed with there amazingly flavored drinks will set the right mood. A few areas for improvement but not deal breaker complaints: the portions for the price is a problem the appetizers are small and overpriced you get more guacamole and more chips at chipotle for less the you get here and this is supposed to be and upscaled experience and why reinvent the wheel when your sister restaurant is LOMA then use the same phenomenon homemade tortilla chips! Can’t wait to try all the entrées! Thank you for such great hospitality everyone was...
